The doctor then came to test her ankle. After a few tests, he said that she needs to be kept under observation for one more day and then they can take her home the next day.

"Let me inform some one at home about here. They must be worrying." Garvit said and then he went out to make the call.

Meanwhile, Nishka's phone rang. It was her mom.

"What happened Nishka? Dr. Mittal told me today about your broken ankle. How are you now? What did the doctor say? When are you coming back?"

"Mumma, mumma, mumma, hold on. I just sprained my ankle. Nothing much. The doctor has fixed it already. I am totally fine now."

"Dr. There is a delivery scheduled for you now. OT is ready."

The conversation between Latika and Nishka was interrupted by a nurse.

"It is ok mumma, you go for the operation. I will talk to you later. Bye!" Nishka hung up the call.

Since Garvit informed everyone about Nishka's condition, they all reached there to look upon her.

Kartik was roaming nervously in the aisle. Vansh came to him and put his hands on his shoulder.

"I am sorry bhai, I should have listened to you. Bhabhi would not have been in this condition then." Vansh apologozed.

"You did not do anything. She slipped and there was no fault of yours in that. In fact, I am sorry for shouting on you." Kartik replied and the two brothers reconciled.

The nurse came and informed Kartik about being called by the doctor. He left for his cabin.

"I have seen Nishka's tests' reports. She is absolutely fine. You can take her home tomorrow morning. But there is one thing I have observed which I need to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Is she allergic to something?"

"Not such. She is comfortable in eating anything."

"Medications? Is her body comfortable in taking high dose medications?"

" .... " Kartik had no answer.

"See, her body has reacted to anaesthesia. She might now suffer from...  "

"Is everything ok Dr.? Is she fine? She is suffering from what?" Kartik interrupted in between.

"She is absolutely fine. No complications at all. She might suffer from hypothermia."

" .... Hypothermia? What does it mean?"

"Nothing to worry about. She might feel shivers and chills for the next few days. That is it. You need to make her feel warm. This is the respond her body has given to anaesthesia. Otherwise, I am prescribing some pain killers and vitamins. Take them regularly. She will recover soon."

"Sure doctor, thank you so much!"
