"Just say this once to Nishka also, she is very nervous with all what happened. She will feel better with you beside her." Raman asked Kartik.
"Sure Dad. I will."
Kartik went to Nishka and Latika left the two alone.
Nishka immediately blurted out and asked for forgiveness. She explained that how she wanted to save him and how it turned out in such a blunder bringing both the families' reputation at stake but then Kartik signalled her to hush. She stopped and both stared each other for a good few seconds.
"You have always wanted to be with me, here am I, accepting you after knowing the whole truth." Kartik said to Nishka.
"Seriously? Have you forgiven me?" Nishka asked with the spark of hope in her eyes.
"Well... I am marrying you ... to make your life hell. I want you to suffer for the rest of your life. You have left no option for me but this to equalise the scores between us. It is a war we are getting involved into, for ever. Let us begin the journey .... Wifeyyyy!"
Nishka was shocked to see the hate for herself in Kartik's eyes. Once a caring and protective person has now turned into a revengeful and rebellious one. She started getting unsure of her love now. In a jiffy, she remembered her father's words, "Till the time Kartik accepts you whole heartedly, make sure your love is enough for both of you."
She wiped her tears, gathered courage and spoke to herself, " I have always loved you with all my heart and will keep on doing so. My God knows the purity of my love and I am sure that one day, you will also accept me and my love. If it is a challenge, then let it be but I will make sure that none of us would cross the boundary this relationship brings with it. Let us begin the journey .... Hubbyyyy!"
