K. Lohiya and Nishka were sharing a dance when he asked her, "So... What is next? Well your expressions tell this all that you do not have any planning next."
"You just wait and watch. If I have promised that I would not let you and Lara go away, then I definitely would not."
"Sure.... All the best for the same!"
Time passed and the party came to the end. All the guests left bidding good bye to the Rathi's after wishing and blessing the couple.
Nishka met Garvit and Tanisha with a hopeless smile and they both consoled her. Garvit hoped for the best for both Nishka and Kartik.
Nishka was in her bed tossing and turning thinking about Kartik. The night deepened and she herself did not know when she slept.
In the middle of the night, her phone rang and her sleep lost.
She picked the phone to answer just to find the caller was Kartik.
She checked the time and got worried that what made Kartik call her at the wee hour of his wedding day. It was 3am.
Before she could even say a word, "I want to meet you, right now, come down outside the hotel lobby. I am waiting." Kartik ordered her.
She got scared. Kartik never spoke to her before in this tone. Her heart started thumping. She of course was frightening.
She got off the bed, put a shawl on the silk night gown she was wearing and then put on her slippers, took her phone and headed towards the lift to go downstairs.
As other relatives and friends of Kartik and Lara, the Gupta's were also staying at the resort for their wedding. It was a destination wedding after all.
Nishka came hurriedly towards lobby only to find Kartik with his back towards her and his hands cross folded. It seemed that he was waiting for her only.
