[𝐒𝟏] 𝐄𝐏 𝟏 - 𝐑𝐮𝐧.

𝟭𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

"Damn.. the sky's bright red, It's both beautiful and terrifying." I thought, while my footsteps were pounding with each desperate gasp of my breath.

I heard Ashlyn yell ahead of us while running "TIME?!". As Logan hears this he checks his watch, replying "8 minutes!". I smirked in relief after hearing how minutes left, I was getting tired and my legs were starting to cramp.

I saw Ashlyn's panicked eyes looking back. I looked back as well and indeed it was getting close. I grunted and held onto my bow tight, trying to run faster. I looked back in front and saw a glimpse of buses. I yelled out "The graveyard!" and began to run faster ahead of Ben.

Ashlyn got in first and waited for us to get in the graveyard. I skied beside Ashlyn and my eyes widened, seeing how close the phantom was getting. I heard Tyler yell out after passing by Ashlyn and I. "Close the gate, close the gate!"

Ashlyn slammed the red button and cautiously observed the phantom. I mirrored her actions, staying close behind in case anything happens. The phantom sprinted faster, desperate to reach the closing gate, only to have it slam shut in its face with a loud thud. It pounded on the gate, emitting loud bangs in a desperate attempt to get inside.

I sighed and held onto my hair, looking down. Relieved we made it out alive. I heard Ashlyn speak up breathlessly "Alright, Let's head back to the bus." We all nodded and exhaustedly went in the bus.

I was so exhausted that I sat on the floor, leaning against the seat Ashlyn was sitting on. I hear Tyler on my left, groaning as he sat down beside Taylor "Ugh, that sucked." I let out a scoff before hugging my legs, looking up at the ceiling with an amused grin. I felt Tyler's glare as I scoffed.

For a while, I realized the banging stopped. I dropped my smile and narrowed my eyes, looking back down to check the windows.

I hear Ashlyn sigh before speaking behind me "ah, the banging stopped.."I let go of my legs and, in a state of confusion, I set my hand upon the floor. Tyler looked over at her and replied "It probably gave up or- somethi..-" He then lost track of his words. I glanced towards the bus door and I saw Ashlyn tense up out of the corner of my eye.

We all froze in shock as we saw long, slender fingers on the bus door frame. It slowly revealed itself, having that creepy smile and dead white eyes. I stood up, asking in panic and shock "How?!"

The phantom slowly got on the bus and walked towards us. We all got up and gathered on the back of the bus in fear. We were unable to grab our weapons in the crate on time since the phantom was already ahead of it.

I glared at the phantom, gritting my teeth and clenching my fist. Ashlyn looks behind and asks in panic "Can we open the back door?" Tyler and I looked at eachother then down to the handle, trying to open the door. "It's locked!" Tyler yelled out, sweating. My heart skipped a beat, my breath hitched, and I quietly muttered, "crap."

Logan cries out in panic and stutters as he asks "W-what do we do?" Aiden went blank then replied "Die?" I groaned and looked over at Aiden "AIDEN!" We all yell at him at the same time. 

The phantom creepily drew nearer and suddenly lunged toward us. I stumbled back, finding myself between Tyler and Ben, gasping before joining the group in a fearful scream. Ben gripped my forearm and shoulder as I leaned back, screaming in terror.

As Logan's watch beeped, I sensed a shift in the air around me. 

I gasped, sitting up quickly in bed, sweat running down my forehead as I clutched my chest. My head throbbed and I groaned, gripping it tightly with my free hand.
