I was listening to music, using my earphones while eveyone gathered to their groups. I was beside Logan, scrolling through my phone to find a song what I want to queue next.
I looked up to see Mr. Thomas walking past us. I took off one earphone to listen what he was going to say, "Alright, everyone start filing onto the bus. We're getting ready to leave for Savannah in t minus five!"
IN THE BUS
I took a seat behind Ben and Logan. I immediately placed my bag down to my side so no one would sit beside me. When someone asks if they could sit down beside me, I would act like I didn't hear them while looking through the window with my earphones on.
I lifted my head and lowered my music's volume to listen to Mr. Thomas as I saw him infront.
"Okay everyone, I'm sure you already know, but I'm going to go over today's schedule one last time. It takes 8 hours to arrive to Savannah. In about 4 hours, around noon, we'll stop to get something to eat."
He continues while adjusting his glasses, "Once we get to Savannah, you and your group will have 2 hours to eat, go on tours, look at historic monuments, explore the area, goof off, etc. After we'll all meet back up at the bus and head to the motels."
He lends out his hand to point out at the two teachers who are sitting down infront,"Everyone who has a phone has added Mr. Lee's, Mrs. Sarah's, and my number, correct?
I nodded, scrolling through my phone, exploring new songs while everyone else replies, "Yes!"
Mr. Thomas smiles and finishes, "Alright, then let's get this show on the road!"
I maxed out the volume on my earphones, scrolling through media and exploring new songs while fidgeting with the earphone wire.
8 HOURS LATER
I let out a groan as I stretched in my seat. I got off the bus and waited for my group to gather. When the others and I were assembled in one spot, we noticed popping noises. It was Ashlyn, a foot away, stretching her body. The others looked at her with different expressions.
Tyler and Taylor looked disturbed, turning their bodies away; Ben cringed; Logan looked concerned; and there's Aiden.. who looked amazed.
I thought to myself, glancing at the others and then back at Ashlyn, "That's normal. Why are they surprised?"
I turned my attention to Mr. Thomas as he spoke up for the class, "Alright, everyone, don't go too far out. Make sure to be back here at 5, and if anything happens, call us immediately! When everyone is back, we will head to the motel. Make sure your group is complete before getting into your assigned rooms!"
I nodded and then looked around. My eyes softened as I took in the surroundings. "This place is still the same, just a little old," I thought.
I noticed that the others were already moving ahead, so I walked a bit faster to catch up, wanting to see if I still recognized the way.
As I looked up at the trees while walking, I heard Logan ask, "What should we do first?" I glanced at Taylor, who replied, "Well, we haven't eaten since we stopped for lunch a few hours ago. We can get some food and talk about what to do while we eat."
I nodded and responded, "Sounds like a good idea," followed by Tyler, who was still focused on his phone, "Sure."
We explored Savannah as a group. We started by eating at a restaurant, then rode a carriage, looked at monuments, visited a light store, and got our faces painted.
I chuckled when Taylor spotted the face paint area. We all got face paint designs.
Ashlyn had music notes on hers and was sitting by the fountain. Aiden had a smiley face on his cheek and was stealing coins from the fountain. Ben had a mustache and was sleeping on the side. Taylor and Tyler had matching butterflies on their cheeks, and Logan had a blue bird on his cheek.
I was sitting on a bench, watching the chaos while listening to music at a low volume. I giggled a few times, particularly watching Taylor try to take a picture of Tyler using Logan's camera, with Logan looking worried about his camera breaking.
I looked down at my phone and saw my reflection on the black screen. I let out a small, soft smile, admiring my face paint. I had stars from my temple to my cheek. It looked nice, and I appreciated the artist's skill.
"This isn't so bad," I thought to myself while staring at my reflection.
After we washed off our face paint, we headed back to walking around. Logan checked his phone and reminded us, "We have 40 minutes left." Taylor, who was beside him, responded, "I guess we should probably head back in 30 minutes then."
"Excuse me!" I heard a woman's voice from behind. I turned around curiously to see what had made her call out to us. She walked toward us, waving and asking, "Would you be interested in a tour of the Sorrel Weed House? A group canceled their tour last minute, and now we have empty spots if you guys are interested." She added, "Don't worry, it's only $5 per person."
I suddenly shivered, then responding, "We're good, thank yo—" I was cut off by Taylor, who said, "Wait, really?!" She then turned around with excitement, "This place is supposed to be haunted! We gotta go!"
Tyler replied dryly, "Sure, I don't care," followed by Aiden, who replied excitedly, "I'm in!"
I glanced at the two, then back at the woman, who was smiling. Suspicions grew, leading me to look at her with narrow eyes.
I could tell she noticed this, as I saw her eyes dart to the side before she turned her back and said, "Then right this way!"
"Suspicious..." I thought to myself while walking behind the others, still watching the woman closely.

So since yk.. Marvis is always listening to music, I think it would be a great idea to put his playlist here if you guys are interested on what music he listens to.
It's kinda mixed with his music and music that's accurate/relatable for him.
