I stepped into the local sandwich shop that Domonic had invited me out to. It had been three days since we'd ran into each other and yesterday he'd texted asking if I wanted to get a bite to eat. When I spotted him sitting at a table I made my way over to him.

"Hey." I greeted, taking a seat across from him.

"Wassup." He spoke, his eyes raking over me, lingering on my breast then coming back up to my face. My face began to heat up. Domonic and I had always had a mutual attraction, we'd just never acted on it.

I looked around the crowded sandwich shop. "I've never heard of this place. Has this always been right here?"

"Nah, it opened up a few years after you left."

"Like a lot of things." I chuckled, taking a seat. "I swear everything seems so different. Even you've changed." The last part made him chuckle.

"Looks wise, yes." He agreed.

"Personality wise?" I questioned.

"I'm still the same nigga that likes to laugh and crack jokes." That made me smile. Domonic had always been good for making you laugh.

"That's good to hear." I pushed one of my curls behind my ear, grabbing ahold of the menu. "What are you getting?" I questioned.

"I always get the turkey club."

"All of these sandwiches and you want a turkey club. You're still a picky eater huh?" I questioned.

"Yes, and there's nothing wrong with that."

"Sure, it isn't." I smirked.

Domonic returned my smirk, placing his menu down. "So, catch me up one what's been going on these past ten years."

"I don't even know where to start." I laugh. "I'll just give you a little quick overview first. So after high school I went to college in New York, and I became an rn. I worked in New York after college but I wasn't happy there, so I decided to move back here when I found a job at a hospital."

"You always said you were going to be a nurse, I'm proud of you."

"Thank you." I blushed. "Now catch me up on what's been going on with you."

Before he could respond, the waitress came and asked me what I wanted to drink. I told her then she took our orders then our menus.

"Okay, now you can tell me what's been up with you." He ran his pink tongue ran over his bottom lip and began rubbing his hand over his beard. Time had done him well, I had to admit that. The man across from me had every ounce of sex appeal there was.

"After I graduated I went to community college. While I was there I started doing tattoos out of my dorm room. When I graduated I moved off of campus and got my own apartment and began using the extra bedroom I had to do my tattoos in. A year ago I opened up Domonic's Ink."

"You have your own tattoo studio?" I questioned amazed.

"Yeah."

"Oh my gosh, you have to show me. We can even go when we leave here." Domonic chuckled.

"That's cool with me." Domonic's phone began vibrating on the table, causing me to look down at it. It was some girl named Dominique calling. He sent it to voicemail, getting a call right back.

"I think you might want to answer that." I smirked.

"It's just my little sister Domonique, she doesn't want anything."
