The morning sun streamed through the windows as Lisa pulled up in front of Jisoo's house, ready to pick her up for work. She honked the horn lightly and waited, but instead of Jisoo, Chaeyoung appeared at the front door. She stepped out and walked briskly towards Lisa's car, her expression determined.

Lisa rolled down her window, smiling politely. "Good morning, Chaeyoung. Is Jisoo ready?"

Chaeyoung leaned against the car, her eyes narrowing. "She'll be out in a minute. I wanted to talk to you first."

Lisa's smile faded slightly. "Sure, what's up?"

"I want to know what really happened last night," Chaeyoung said, her voice low and steady. "Jisoo came home with blood on her shirt. What kind of photography job leads to that?"

Lisa's heart pounded, but she maintained her calm exterior. "You mean the paint? Jisoo works extra hard to get certain shots you know "

Chaeyoung leaned closer, her gaze piercing. "Don't give me that. I know there's more to it. And I know you know what it is. So, what happened?"

Lisa swallowed, feeling the pressure of Chaeyoung's scrutiny. "I don't know what you're talking about, Chae. Jisoo had a busy day at work, that's all."

Chaeyoung's eyes flashed with frustration. "You're lying. Tell me the truth, Lisa."

Lisa shifted uncomfortably in her seat, then glanced towards the house, desperately calling out, "Jisoo! We need to go!"

Jisoo appeared at the door a moment later, hurrying over to the car. "Hey, what's going on?"

Chaeyoung straightened up, stepping back as Jisoo approached. "We were just having a chat."

Lisa quickly opened the car door for Jisoo, eager to escape the interrogation. "We should get going, Chu. We're going to be late."

Jisoo glanced between her wife and her partner, sensing the tension. "Okay. I'll see you tonight, Chae."

Chaeyoung nodded, her expression unreadable. "Be careful."

Jisoo gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, then climbed into the car. As Lisa drove away, Chaeyoung stood on the sidewalk, her mind racing. Her phone buzzed in her pocket, pulling her from her thoughts. She checked the message, her eyes narrowing as she read the contents.

In the car, Jisoo sighed and leaned back in her seat. "Thanks for the save back there."

"No problem," Lisa said, her grip on the steering wheel tightening. "She's really suspicious, Jisoo. We need to be more careful."

Jisoo nodded, her thoughts drifting back to the previous night. "Speaking of careful, who do you think took that shot? Someone else is definitely involved."

Lisa shrugged, keeping her eyes on the road. "Could be a rival. Or someone with a personal vendetta."

Jisoo shook her head. "It's just weird. It's like they knew exactly where to be."

Lisa chuckled, trying to lighten the mood. "Maybe it's Chaeyoung. She's got the smarts for it."

Jisoo gave her a serious look. "It couldn't be Chae. She doesn't even hurt flies."

Jisoo and Chaeyoung were in their kitchen. A fly buzzed around, landing on the counter. Jisoo grabbed a fly swatter, ready to strike, but Chaeyoung gently caught the fly in her hands.

"Let it go, Chu," Chaeyoung said softly, walking to the window and setting the fly free. Jisoo lowered the fly swatter, watching her wife with a mix of admiration and frustration.

Jisoo snapped back to the present, shaking her head. "No way. She's too gentle for this line of work."

They arrived at their company's headquarters, a sleek building that towered over the city. Inside, they made their way to the top floor, where their boss awaited them. He was a tall man with sharp features, his presence commanding respect.

"Jisoo, Lisa," he greeted them. "I have an important mission for you two. It's critical, and failure is not an option."

Jisoo and Lisa listened intently as he laid out the details. The mission was complex, requiring precision and stealth. It was clear why they were chosen.

"We won't let you down," Jisoo promised, her voice firm.

"Good," their boss replied. "I'm counting on you both."

As they left the office, Jisoo and Lisa exchanged determined looks. They knew the stakes were high, and their every move would be scrutinized. But they were ready, and nothing would stand in their way.

"You wanna get drinks?" Lisa offered, "I'll pay!"

"You read my mind." Jisoo says, "our bar then?"

"Where else?"
