I read through the contract everything seemed to be in order, however I sent it to my lawyer and decided I'd make Dominic wait for my reply. If he really wanted me to work for him I was gonna make him beg. He had to reach out to me himself and you might think? Wow childish, but I really didn't care he after all was the same type of person.

My best friend Dexter called me immediately. "Hello" I smiled as I held onto my phone with my cheek and shoulder fixing my hair. Dexter was my lawyer and best friend in this entire world.

I helped him get with the woman he is so madly in love with and we've been friends together since grade school. Also Dexter and I were never involved romantically. "Everything seems in place but why are you gonna work for the people that declined you as CEO" I smirked.

"Dominic Frost personally asked for me" I heard him chuckle "I'm putting you on speaker Sofia wants to hear this too" I laughed.

"I got a call from his secretary and he really wanted to set up a meeting with me and me being me I was curious to why and then he made me a job offer for Marketing manager which was a slap in the face so I of course said I wouldn't take anything lower than a CFO" I heard Dex whistle and Sofia laugh and clap.

"You are so smart I swear!" She stated so happily.

"Aww stop it I love you" I said pouring myself some wine.

"Wait so does he need a reply soon?" Asked Dex I smirked he already knew the answer to that.

"Of course he needs an answer but you really think I'm gonna give him the satisfaction of a quick answer? Even if he is giving me what I want this ass got the job he has simply from his name. I'll give him my answer tomorrow at noon" Sofia quickly chimed in "btw I love you too but I gotta go I have 50 cupcakes to make for tomorrows pick up order good luck boss bitch make this fucker regret to ever taking this job from you" I laughed so hard.

"Dex said "well I hope all goes well I have to go but let me know if you need anything" then we said our goodbyes.

I decided to get ready for bed doing my nightly routine. I also thought I'd catch up a bit and read the files and see exactly what I can find out about the moles identity.

They had to leave a trail of breadcrumbs unless this person is thinking two steps ahead of everyone. I grabbed my laptop and started analyzing data with Mayan on their released information on their website.

They had advertised a product Frost was going to release before them so no only were they getting some of the same date but the same product information .

I looked at my nightstand and bright blue numbers showed 11:27 pm I sighed I needed sleep. Ignoring the thoughts about working with Dominic I fell asleep knowing tomorrow I would send over the signed contract with my name printed and signed all over it.

I was about to make a deal with the devil it seemed like, yet it would probably be worse to work for Mayan seeing as they're already doing fraudulent activity.

The next morning I woke up and made myself two over hard eggs with a green drink and my coffee. I drove to Frost Enterprise to start my first day of work.

When I walked in Mr. Frost himself waited for me with a smile. "Welcome to your first day Ms. Jones" I smiled walking towards him confidently.
