Chapter 11

Mackenzie

We arrived at Andy's bar and almost as soon as I entered the door Savannah pulled me into a bear hug. I smiled I missed her so much "sweetie I haven't seen you in forever" she said with the biggest smile on her face.

"Oh is this your boyfriend" my eyes widened and I quickly was going to retort that question but Dominic outstretched his hand "Dominic Frost it's a pleasure to meet you I've heard great things" Savannah pulled him in for a hug ignoring his hand.

Dominic stiffened up but returned the hug while Savannah pulled us to my usual table. "Do you want your usual sweetie" I smiled "actually I'll go for a glass of red wine and a steak medium please" she nodded writing it down "I'll take a whiskey sour on rocks and can I get a steak as well medium" she wrote it down smiling.

"Oh and-"

"French fries I know" Savannah said and I smiled hugging her she knew me so well!

"Look I'm a sucker for French fries I don't care what time it is or if it's a fancy event I want French fries all the time" Dominic chuckled.

"No very professional of you to have fries at a fancy event" he said and I rolled my eyes.

"Don't roll your eyes at me I've let it slide for a few days now but keep doing it and I'll make you regret it" I laughed.

"What are you going to do something cliche like take be against this table right now? Or let me guess spank my ass until it's red and raw" I laughed again and he came close to me.

"I wouldn't mind taking you right here right now I've held myself back for quite some time now" I laughed this was too public and I know for a fact he was bluffing.

"You're bluffing" I said with a smirk.

He grabbed my chin and pulled my face to his. Our lips connected in a steamy kiss he placed both arms alongside me but one hand made its way below my waist. I had a pencil skirt on today of all days he tried to hike up my skirt but he was interrupted by Savannah "you guys could always get a room you know" I blushed immediately.

I grabbed my glass of wine and downed it immediately she laughed "ugh that's so cute it's like puppy love y'all are just starting out aren't you?" I felt like I couldn't talk my throat was so dry.

"Can you tell?" Dominic said and I swatted his hand at this point she just saw us making out and I didn't want to tell her he was my boss. To my advantage Andy wasn't here so he wouldn't be cursing me and telling me how wrong this is. Which I already knew all too well.

"Can I get another glass of wine please mom" I said and yes I called her mom both my dad and Andy didn't mind. She was like my mom she helped raised me.

She nodded bringing me the bottle and hugging me from the back quickly before heading off to help customers. Dominic smiled "you call her mom?" I nodded.

"She did help raise me" he nodded "you don't call Andy dad thought does that bother him?" I laughed.

"I do call him dad sometimes and that's usually when he's treating me like his daughter but no they both don't mind when I started calling Savannah mom I was 3 years old and my father wanted me to call someone mom" he nodded.

"I'm sorry" I shook my head "I never got to meet my mom so it doesn't hurt as bad you know? I might sound bad saying that but I'm grateful to have them in my life cause it would probably be harder without them" he nodded.

"How about you I know I've meet your mother but that was purely business and I haven't met your father" he shook his head now "they're both very power hungry that's for sure but they were good parents too".

"Were?" I questioned

"Just recently when my mom said something about a girl named Mackenzie Jones taking my job that bothered me you know? I worked my ass off for this job for you to just take it just like that" I laughed.

"Oh fuck you I worked hard too you know! I did everything right but the father of the ceo got it lucky you" he looked at me.

"Not lucky me I worked extremely hard to get to where I am have you ever even been CEO anywhere cause that's a pretty hard job to do and have" I shook my head.

"No but I was making my way to that I was COO but I got the opportunity to be CEO and I left my old job and settled for fucking CFO for some reason" he leaned back on his chair.

"Why did you settle for CFO if you were a COO?" I stayed quiet I couldn't answer that myself if I was honest.

"Do my parents want to have you in their back pocket in case I fuck up? I shook my head "no you're the one that hired me asshole they probably don't even know I'm here" he stayed in thought for a while then our steaks got there.

After dinner we got in his car and he drove me to my apartment when he asked "why did you kiss me?" Again with this question something I really wanted to avoid.

"I don't know" I said he looked at me "well I know why I kissed you" I smiled "oh yeah well please enlighten me".

He then kissed me again this time we both wanted this. "Do you want to come in?" I asked and he nodded we quickly got off and waited in the elevator to get to my floor. The tension was even higher here now that we knew what we were about to do.

Once in my apartment we kissed each other like there was no tomorrow. I undid his tie throwing it to the floor and he unzipped my pencil skirt and it pooled around my feet. We were both now in our undergarments with me straddling him his hand made it to the inside of my underwear and his mouth on my neck sucking and kissing. I threw back my head and closed my eyes.

We were really about to do this. His fingers made their way inside me when his phone rang loudly. He looked annoyed he kissed me and answered his phone standing up "Caroline?" He sounded panicked and I felt sick.

God why do I keep doing this? "I'll be right over" he looked at me but I couldn't meet his cold blue eyes "I have to go" he said and quickly got dressed running out of my apartment.

I looked at the floor and there was his tie he left behind with my dignity. I got up and took a cold shower knowing that was the last time I was going to let him touch me ever again.
