Vrishasen's Lakshmana

Chapter Nine

"Lakshmana if you take a step forward, I will burn the whole Dwarka down", Lakshman said.

"Or will get killed in killing these people who are ruining your life", he said simply.

"The more I am getting to know you Dwarakadish. The more I am getting disgusted. I am sorry. I know you are Kaurwaki's father. But this is not her husband saying. This is a brother taking a stand for his innocent sister", Lakshman said.

Kaurwaki smiled proudly at her husband.

"Please don't act like you don't know anything. Even a fool knows you always know everything. You must have helped in Vatsala escaping just so she could marry by her choice and here your son is ruining a girl's life and you know it! Yet you stay silent", Lakshman said angrily.

"What about you Vatsala? You must know the pain of not marrying your love? Why are you silent? Say something!" He said. Vatsala stood with tears. "what will you say? You didn't care about the feelings of your parents. Why will you care about someone else? You got your happily ever after. You don't care anymore".

"But this girl here, my sister, my baby sister is the one who is ready to sacrifice her love to save her father's reputation, to save her love from taunts", Lakshman said proudly looking at Lakshmana.

"Taatshree Balram, I love you for showing me this much love that you organised my wedding again. And you are even getting Vatsyala married with the one she loves. But what about my sister?" He asked.

"Yes Pitashree. Jiji loves Arya", Vatsyala said.

"Yes", Kaurwaki said smiling. "Mana loves Vrish and making her marry someone else is super wrong".

Balram was shocked.

"Wait. The point is not that. Taatshree even if Mana didn't love Vrish and was just going to choose someone. You can't force her by dragging her home to the ocean and making her scared of the destruction just because you didn't feel respected because your son is in prison. A woman's disrespect is disrespect. You blame father for that-that sabha".

Everyone got uncomfortable remembering the Dyut sabha.

"And I know nothing can justify it but ruining my sister's life? Isn't that disrespect of my sister too? Especially when she loves someone else?" He asked.

"And Vrish...do you have any issues in accepting her?" He asked.

"If I can have Mana, I am happy. I really don't care about the world. I only care about her and our love", he said.

Lakshmana looked at him with tears.

"Matter ends. Lakshmana and Vrishsena are getting married. You can take your son back otherwise I might behead him", Lakshman said and pulled Lakshmana with him.

"And before any of you reach her, you will have to fight me and Vatsyala", Kaurwaki said.

Krishna smiled proudly at his daughters.

"I am sorry Lakshman but being lord of creation doesn't give me license to change destiny. But I am happy you took a stand and don't worry Lakshmana will marry Vrishsena only and I will bless this union", he said.

Lakshmana hugged him happily. Krishna smiled and hugged her back as his own eyes glistened.

"Sorry for my brother's behaviour and thank you".

Krishna chuckled.

Saambh was about to say something but Krishna glared at him so he stood silent.

"But then how can Vatsyala--" Balram stuttered.

"Lakshmana jiji allowed for it. She doesn't want me sad so she is happy with Arya's marriage with me after her marriage with Arya", Vatsyala informed.

Revati cried happily and pulled Vrishsena and Lakshmana in a hug.

"I am sorry Lakshmana", Balram sobbed.

"No please don't", Lakshmana said and fell at Balram's feet. "Just bless me", she said.

Vrishsena also sat at his feet and then Lakshman and Kaurwaki as well along with Vatsyala.

Balram cried happily and blessed them.

They reached Hastinapur.

Saambh was so angry but couldn't say anything.

The wedding was done with happiness. Vrishsena kept holding Lakshmana's hand tightly in fear of loosing her making her chuckle but hold his hand with same firmness.

"Gurudev. Please set a date for Vatsyala's marriage with Vrishsena too", Duryodhan requested.

"It will happen the same day Lakshman and Kaurwaki's marriage happens and I would organise it in Dwarka", Balram ordered.

Everyone nodded in obedience.

Lakshmana hugged Vatsyala. "I will meet you soon", she said smiling. Vatsyala nodded smiling back.

Kaurwaki pouted sadly as Lakshman looked sad too.

For the remarriage, Kaurwaki was going back in Dwarka.

Everyone smiled seeing Lakshman and Kaurwaki.

"Lakshmana, you stay in Hastinapur as well. All my children will get married with full rituals", Balram said.

Vrishsena made a grumpy face and Lakshman smirked.

"You were looking at me and teasing me. Now see", Lakshman said and Vrishsena glared at him.

Lakshmana, Vatsyala and Kaurwaki chuckled.

And then Anga royals went to Anga while Pandavas and Yadavas went to Dwarka.

Lakshmana chuckled remembering Vrishsena's sad face.
