Cold Attitude

The first morning at camp began early. Birds chirped, and the sun filtered through the trees as the students crawled out of their beds. Charlotte and Engfa were the first to wake up, and they quietly made their way to breakfast in the main hall.

After breakfast, the groups were called to their first day’s program. Group One, consisting of Charlotte, Engfa, Marima, Heidi, Tina, and Nesa, was scheduled for a team-building exercise in a nearby wooded area. The task was to complete an obstacle course together.

Led by a camp counselor, the girls headed into the woods. The course was challenging, but they were determined to overcome the obstacles together.

“Okay, girls, we’ve got this,” Charlotte said confidently, receiving nods of agreement from the others.

The first part of the course was a rope bridge over a small stream. Marima went first, followed by Heidi and Tina. Engfa and Charlotte held hands and crossed together, with Nesa bringing up the rear. Step by step, they crossed the bridge and cheered when they safely reached the other side.

The next section involved climbing a net. Engfa showed her strength here, helping the others by providing a steady hand. Charlotte was the last to climb, and when she reached the top, Engfa pulled her up with a broad smile.

“We make a great team,” Engfa said, and Charlotte agreed.

The toughest challenge came at the end of the course: a maze of ropes they had to navigate without touching the ropes. Heidi took the lead, guiding the others skillfully through the maze. Finally, they reached the end and collapsed into each other’s arms, exhausted but happy.

“That was awesome,” Tina panted, wiping sweat from her forehead.

“We’re really a great team,” Nesa confirmed, and everyone nodded in agreement.

Back at camp, they enjoyed a well-deserved break. The afternoon was free, and the girls decided to explore the lake. They swam, laughed, and soaked up the sun. Engfa and Charlotte stayed close the entire time, their bond unmistakable.

As evening fell, they made their way back to their cabin. After dinner, all the students gathered around the campfire, where stories were told and songs were sung. The atmosphere was joyful and relaxed.

Later that night, when the others were already asleep, Charlotte and Engfa sat on their porch, gazing at the stars. The quiet of the night and the gentle breeze created a magical ambiance.

“It was a really beautiful day,” Charlotte said softly.

“Yes, it was,” Engfa replied, taking Charlotte’s hand. “I’m so glad we can experience this together.”

Finally, they decided to go to bed. In the cabin, they shared a room since they had volunteered to sleep together. They changed and lay down.

“Good night, Engfa,” Charlotte whispered.

“Good night, Charlotte,” Engfa replied and gently pulled Charlotte close. They lay in a spooning position, with Engfa hugging Charlotte from behind. Charlotte felt safe and secure in Engfa’s arms.

Engfa leaned forward slightly and kissed Charlotte softly on the back of her neck. “Sleep well,” she whispered tenderly.

Charlotte smiled contentedly and closed her eyes. With a warm feeling of love and security, they fell asleep holding hands, knowing they would share many more special moments together.
