Backstory

[Y/N] lost their mother at a young age due to a car accident, but since they were young, they pretend that she was still here. This led to schizophrenia, which they were diagnosed with at the age of 12. Luckily, it's not too severe to conflict with daily activities, which is the reason they are allowed to go to school. But since that place kept bringing back unwanted memories, [Y/N] and their father decided to move from (old city) to Georgia for a new start. Given their mental state, schizophrenia is supposed to be treated in a hospital, but due to their age, the doctors agreed to let [Y/N] go to school as long as they take pills. However, ever since moving to Georgia, they have been seeing some... interesting things in their delusions.
A/N: I KNOW, I KNOW. I said I would do a Mermaid Sun/Moon x Reader. But it's a bunch of factors. One is that it is summer vacation, two is that I have no motivation to transfer it from the book to my computer, and three, I just read School Bus Graveyard and fell in love with it. And Aiden. And since I just read it today, I have a random motivation strike, so I wanted to write this. Lesson learned, never trust the author with release dates.
