Y/N's POV

"Hey, do you guys want a tour of the Sorrel Weed House?"

A voice from behind us called out. We all collectively turned around, startled at the sudden approach. It was a girl, dressed in a maroon shirt and black pants. We looked at each other, but Aiden decided to be a bitch at the moment, and he started dragging us, following the girl.

That's how we ended up in the front of a sketchy looking house. I didn't want to enter, and from the looks of it, neither did Ashlyn. In fact, she seemed scared of it. But Aiden took our hands and brought us inside, following the girl.

She told us about the contents of the house. I never found houses exciting, not after I was diagnosed. Not after the accident. Suddenly, her phone started ringing. She took one look at it, and said that she needed to take it. That girl then went out of the house, warning us not to touch anything.

That's exactly what we did. I froze like a statue when she said that, looking at everyone in the group. The twins were talking to each other, Aiden was talking to Ben, who wasn't saying anything, Logan was standing there like me, and Ashlyn.. she was just staring into the darkness of another room. What was she looking at?

"Ashlyn?" I called out to her, appearing at her side. "Whatcha looking at?"

She didn't respond for a second, before looking back at me and smiling. "Nothing. I thought I saw something interesting." Though I know that tone. She was hiding something. When she went silent, I looked where she was staring earlier. And I saw nothing for a good minute. I blinked, and then something appeared in the shadows. That creature again.

I didn't remember taking my medicine. Hell, I forgot to text Dad. He's probably dead worried. But I decided to do that when I got to the motel. The lady still hadn't come back, and I noticed Ashlyn putting in earplugs. I wanted to ask, but didn't want to seem rude. So I held back.

But then I noticed her eyes go wide. I looked where she was looking, and that black figure was still there. Why hasn't it gone away? Suddenly, Taylor's voice came out loud. "We should continue exploring!" She announced. Ashlyn and I telepathically decided to turn away, but when we looked, the others stared at us, terrified

"Ashlyn... behind you.." Logan whispered.

Ash let out a scream, pulling her arm away. I swear, it couldn't only be me who saw the creature scratch her arm, leaving a long cut up her forearm. It triggered my trauma, seeing the blood drip to the floor. It reminded me of that accident, seeing my mother's blood fall to the top of the upside-down car.

Suddenly, I felt a shift, the same moment Ashlyn hit the ground with a 'thud.' All of a sudden, the scratch was gone. I looked to the others for any sort of confirmation, hoping someone else saw it. Nothing. The smiling figure also seemed to have disappeared from the shift, because I couldn't see it anymore. Never had my schizophrenia acted up this badly. It hurt another person, and I felt at fault.

"What was that?!" Taylor yelled, which Aiden replied with the suggestion of it being one of the ghosts in this haunted house. Tyler didn't buy it, saying ghosts didn't exist, and saying this was a prank. When he explained his reasoning, it did make sense. He grabbed his sister's arm, telling us that we should head back to the bus.

"Ya okay?" I heard Aiden, which I directed my attention to. He was sitting next to Ashlyn, so close to her. Something went through my chest, and I couldn't bear to see that, so I just left the house.

---------------

There were 4 people in each room, so I was with Ashlyn, Tyler, and Taylor. The twins were playing cards, while Ashlyn was in the shower. I was in my room texting my dad and his billion messages which I forgot to respond to earlier. I quickly remembered I needed to take my medicine, which I got out of my bag and put in my mouth, along with some water. I went over the events from today, wondering if I should tell Dad. But he would get too worried, so I scrapped the idea. I can't believe I was hiding something from him. We told each other all of our secrets. But it's like they say. "Some things are best kept a secret."

"You okay, [Y/N]?" Ash said, leaning against the doorframe. It wasn't too late, only 9 in the night. I nodded my head, before getting up. I was next in line for a shower, so that's what I did. I went to the bathroom and closed the door, dropping my new set of clothes on the table. I looked at myself in the mirror, a little tired from the day's events. And it couldn't have been my schizophrenia, but I saw something behind me. The creature. It didn't move, and I was too scared to. I couldn't scream, because they wouldn't believe me. I froze up, my eyes widening in fear. I couldn't do anything, so I just hoped it would go away soon. It didn't.

Giving myself a mental countdown, I dashed for the door, slamming it shut when I got out. Taylor and Tyler looked at me like I was a maniac. "Why the hell did you shut it so loudly? Are you done?" Tyler asked with a scoff. I couldn't tell them, because what if they didn't believe me?

"I'm fine, and yea, I'm done." I lied, too scared to go back. Fuck, my clothes were still in there, but I would just get them later. Tyler got up and went in, and I didn't hear anything strange, so I just left it like that. I went back to the room Ashlyn was in, to see... her body bent like a fucking twig. I let out a yelp, jumping back in shock.

"Ah, sorry, I didn't expect you to be done so quickly." She said, fixing herself up and standing up. It was awkward. I didn't expect to enter the room and see her bent in half.

(If you're a girl, you're sleeping with Ashlyn, if you're a boy, you're sleeping with Tyler, and if you're something else, you can pick between the two. No Taylor today)

---------------

I climbed into the bed, hoping the person next to me wouldn't start talking. When they didn't, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I opened my eyes to see I was on the bus again. Aiden had woken me up, since Ashlyn had already gotten off apparently. "It's time to get off the bus, [Y/N]. We're in Savannah." He said, pointing to the front of the bus. Did I fall asleep? Maybe I had. But I didn't get it, and soon I was met with an empty bus. Wait..

"Didn't we already get off at Savannah?"
