(I'm going to do a bit of a jump through the series. Inspired by jesus.gonzalez21).
There was a lot of chaos and confusion raging around Audra as she rode on her silvery-blue bipedal Elemental Dragon. The city of Stiix was crawling with ghosts, and ghostly dragons flew high above it, keeping a watchful eye on all entranceways and attacking those who resisted them. When she found by the others, Misako had told her that her younger brother had been possessed by some vengeful ghost named Morro and he's trying to bring a ghost monster into Ninjago. Luckily, Kai had managed to rescue Lloyd from drowning when Morro stopped possessing Lloyd.
Audra had lifted the Dragon Pearl into the air, her Elemental Dragon roared fiercely that caught many people's attention. The Dragon Pearl shone brightly while opening a vortex of the swirling colors of cyan, aquamarine, sapphire, and a hint of emerald. And without hesitation, Audra and Storm (she named her Elemental Dragon) flew into the portal.
The portal swirled shut as she flew into the Cursed Realm. So far, the water hadn't permeated it in its entirety. Everywhere she looked there was chaos — ghosts were rushing to and fro, terrified of their impending doom. More were appearing all the time and they frantically rushed towards the exit.
Audra gritted her teeth together and broke into a fiercer flight, going the opposite direction, clutching the reins in one hand and the aeroblade in the other. It was hard. None of the ghosts seemed to notice her as she flew against them, fighting to go deeper into the depths of the Cursed Realm. She knew that Garmadon would be as deep down as possible. But Audra could barely move forward, and she only had a limited amount of time to finish this.
Storm was able to slow down slightly, but they were still coming down fast and towards a maze of falling rocks and debris that's followed by panicked ghosts. Storm roared out in fierce determination of the collision as Audra glared at the danger approaching them fast. Storm was able to maneuver out of the chaos.
Finally, the cries and shouts and frantic chatter died down and Audra looked up. The ghosts had passed, and were vanishing off in the distance in a cloud of green. Audra's eyes were wide as she rode Storm and went on flying through the realm's bleak scenery. It was green, wispy, and darker than she thought it would be, as though the entire realm knew of its impending doom — but that was only natural. The realm was the Preeminent. The Preeminent was dying. Of course she knew.
She pressed onward. Now, she was near the place where the Preeminent's audience chamber was. A shiver running down her spine, Audra avoided that particular corridor. If Garmadon was likely to be anywhere, it would be down in this part of the realm, this endless maze of claustrophobic tunnels, all silvery and light blue in color. It was almost like they were closing in on Audra as she flew. She almost shut her eyes. But she didn't — she kept them open, so she would catch any sign of Garmadon.
Out of the corner of her eye, Audra caught a glimpse of a large chamber. There was still a faint glow there, and... was that a form silhouetted against the wall?
Suddenly, she gasped, gripping the Aeroblade that she had snatched from one of the ghosts. She flew to the top, then down the slope. The man had changed a lot since Audra had last seen him. He'd aged considerably, his hair is a dark gray, face wrinkled... but it was definitely the same man that she had remembered seeing in her prophetic dreams throughout her childhood. There's no way she's watching another family fall apart again.
She threw the Aeroblade.
There was a loud crash and a gasp as the blade, glowing a range of blues and greens, sliced through the pillars. As Audra had suspected, it cut right through them — the Preeminent, like Ghosts, couldn't stand deepstone. She reached up and caught the blade, she threw it again and slicing through the other pillar.
Garmadon crashed to the ground weakly, and lay laid limp for a moment before slowly picking himself up, rubbing his still-chained wrists — the chains would have to be taken care of later. He seemed thin and weakened, his clothing torn, his robe gone — that was on Lloyd, and how he'd gotten it off was a mystery to Audra. Around his waist was tied a bright green jacket. Lloyd's, from the battle. Audra gazed at him sympathetically.
"Wh-What..." The former Dark Lord stammered, looking up at Audra's form on the Elemental Dragon. "I know you... You're..."
Audra looked around warily. "You can talk about that later. Right now... The Water Ninja has drowned the Preeminent. The Cursed Realm is being destroyed from the inside out. We need to get out of here quickly, so you can see the rest of your family again."
Garmadon seemed confused and Audra stuck out her hand. "Come on! Or else we'll—" She cut off suddenly, eyes widening in horror. There it was, the sound she'd been waiting for since she'd started down these corridors. The rush of water, flowing through the halls. The Preeminent gave a groan, and the entire realm shuddered. Audra gasped, able to see the water in the darkness, starting down the tunnel.
Without hesitation, she took Garmadon's hand and pulled him halfway up till he had suddenly summoned his four-legged, purple Elemental Dragon and encouraged Audra to drop him onto his dragon's back. They both flew through the Cursed Realm's drowning tunnels and chambers. They were still coming down fast and towards a maze of falling rocks and debris that's followed by panicked ghosts. Storm roared out in fierce courage of the collision as Audra glared at the danger approaching them fast. Both of the Elemental Dragons were able to maneuver out of the chaos and the flooding water.
The Preeminent gave another howl of agony and Audra yelped as she felt a bit of water splash her arm. They were going up, up, up... and then, there it was. The exit, like a yawning hole in the side of the realm. Bright golden light streamed through it as dawn broke over the foggy ocean, momentarily blinding the two. They were here. It was over.
And then...
They'd made it.
