004 DIAGON ALLEY

A/n: The story basically begins from here. And for those wondering

where Thalia is, don't worry, she comes in soon. Also I really

wanted to add a playlist for this but had no idea how to match

the song to the chapter so I am just going to tell you a few

of my favorites that I listened to while writing this.

I was shocked at how colorful the street was. There were so many shops arranged with no particular order, with signs in bright colors and weird fonts.

I turned to ask Dumbledore on what to do next, to find him missing. I was shocked and surprised. How could he leave four dyslexic demigods alone in a weird place where people wear bathrobes and carry sticks.

I nudged Percy and Nico, who were looking around in amazement and still hadn't noticed that our guide to this strange place was missing. "HE LEFT US ALONE! WHAT DO WE DO NOW" Percy was shocked.

Suddenly four owls swooped towards us and landed on our shoulders (and if you're wondering, yes, it pooped on Percy, nicked him on the ear, hooted at him, handed him his letter, attacked him one last time for good measure, then left)

I ripped mine open to find 4 pieces of paper, which were written in Greek.

Dear Ms. Chase,

Please note that the new school year will begin on September the 1st. The Hogwarts Express will leave from King Cross Station, platform 9 and 3/4, at 11o'clock.

The second letter was a list of books that we needed for the year (They were useless but it would be good to have them). Th third letter was a list of thing needed and the fourth was from Dumbledore.

Dear Ms. Chase

I am needed for a meeting. I would have loved to show you all around Diagon Alley, but sadly this meeting cannot be rescheduled. Hence, I request for you and your friends to shop for your supplies then head to the address written in the small slip of paper. Do NOT lose that paper. Once you reach the address, repeat the words in your mind.

Our first stop was Gringotts, the wizard bank. It was a snowy white building that towered over the other little shops. Standing beside its burnished bronze doors, wearing a uniform of scarlet and gold, was -

"A tiny short man" Will was surprised. "You mean a Goblin" I corrected him quietly as we walked up the white stone steps toward him. The goblin was about a head shorter than Will.
