Jungkook's POV:

"How's the progress?"

"We're ready,boss."
"Good. Let's make Jeon and his wife pay."

"You wish" I laughed at the attempts of these rats to ruin me,they did not know that I already knew each and every step they were taking,and was already alarmed if something goes wrong.

I dialled a number on my phone,speaking as the ring stopped,she spoke on the other side,greeting me,"Yes Mr Jeon?"

"Thank you so much,Sae Byeok."I thanked her and she did not reply but just sighed,"I am so grateful to you Mr. Jeon. I am finally out of hell."

"I appreciate that you did not lie when I confronted you. It benefited both of us. And I promise, you'll live a better life once I end all this."

"Hm. I hope." She said.

"I'll hang up now. Keep providing me with all the information."

"Surely sir."

I hung up the phone and got up from the seat,locking the office room I was working in,late night. I did not have enough time and I had to take care of all this before it turns worse for us.

I walked towards my room to check on Y/N,and lay down beside her and take a little nap,before I wake up and get ready for office or to headquarters, depending on how the situation is.

She was sleeping peacefully,burying her face in the pillow, breathing calm and a smile on her face as if she was dreaming about the most peaceful situation in the world, irrespective of how her reality is,but I don't want her to realise that,I want her to keep living in the dream and I'm there to make it true,to be her shield and protect her from all the coming harm.

I ruffled her soft hair,a smile forming on my lips as she held my hand, pulling it towards herself and kissing it multiple times. I couldn't help but chuckle at how much of a little baby she was,so I just decided to lay down beside her, letting her hold my hand pecking her forehead twice,and thrice and multiple times before I pulled her closer to me and let her snuggle into my chest.

"Mr Jeon left early today." Maya said and I nodded my head, and walked back to my room,deciding to study for some time. And since Jungkook had promised me already that he'll let me join the college,I must get back on the track with studies if I want to pass this semester.

A notification popped in my phone,taking all my attention away to the device as I sighed,getting up from the study table to see a text from Anna.

She had sent me an image,along with the caption ;

Anna : / <Picture attached> Wow Y/N,Is that you?/

Anna : /I guess not,is it probably his sister?/

I frowned at the text,knowing well that he was the only child of his parents. I hurried to download the image as what I saw caught me off guard,shattered my trust and the urge to shed tears took over me,but no,I couldn't believe a random picture,it could be an edit,I cannot believe this would ever happen.
