The moon now working and the stars align
I stay golden, yall thought I was out my mind

Isaiah stared at the ceiling, praying that last night was an awful, scary drug dream. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Brody and Marlon were dead. Their funerals were today.

"Hey, man. Funeral time." Lamar gently nudges Isaiah, letting him know it's time to leave.  His mind kept replaying the events. It felt so unreal. Two of his friends, dead. Sophie and Minnie might still be alive, but God knows where. Isaiah and Lamar walk towards the graveyard, where everyone is waiting for them. His hair is down, and he isn't wearing his hat. He couldn't be bothered to put on his eye gauze or anything to cover up his missing eye, so today, it's visible.

His eye was his biggest insecurity. He thought it looked gross sometimes, but today he didn't care. Nothing mattered to him, not anymore. Louis is in rough shape. Marlon was his best friend. The betrayal he must be feeling right now was unimaginable. Isaiah wanted to be mad at AJ for killing Marlon, but he couldn't. In his mind, he had it coming.

Rosie whines whilst lying on Marlon's grave. He stares at Brody's grave. It feels disrespectful to bury her next to Marlon, who killed her, but he doesn't say anything. He just stares. Him and Lamar are stood behind Willy, who turns around to look up at Isaiah, seeing his eye he jumps slightly. Isaiah pays him no mind. "...fuck..." he mumbles, pinching the space between his eyes. He feels Lamar's hand on his back, it's reassuring. This is how it was when Erin died.

Clementine and AJ appear at the entrance to the graveyard. "Oh God, they're here." Aasim grumbles. "So what? They knew Brody, didn't they?" Violet defends them. "Yeah, but Marlon-" Omar starts, "just leave them alone." Violet interrupts. Louis sighs, glancing at them. "...shit..."

Violet starts the service. Tenn places a drawing of the beach on Brody's grave. Violet stands in front of Marlon's grave, beginning a speech. "Marlon was..." she cuts herself off. "I can't. Not for Marlon. After what he did to the twins, and Brody. I-" "you didn't even like Brody!" Willy sneers. "You were always mean to her." Isaiah looks at Willy, dead in the eyes, which catches the attention of everyone else. Lamar touches his shoulder, trying to diffuse the possible situation.

Isaiah wasn't intimidating, but he could be if he wanted to. He was fairly muscular, and was around 5'11. Everyone knew him as soft and friendly, so this cold and angry side of him was extremely uncomfortable. He looked especially scary without his eye gauze. Something about a deep, angry hole where an eye should be was pretty off putting to some people.

"I can't." Violet continues. "Someone else do it." "Bitch." Mitch spits as she walks past him. "Dude, don't." Louis jumps in. "Seriously Louis?" Mitch turns to face him. "He was your best friend." Louis' face drops instantly. "He wasn't perfect, but he deserved better than to get gunned down by that kid!" Mitch points at AJ, and starts to walk towards him. Before he realises what's happening, Isaiah pulls his fist back and punches Mitch in the jaw, knocking him over. Immediately, everyone rushes to either help Mitch up, or pull Isaiah back.

"What the fuck was that for?!" Mitch yells at Isaiah. "You can't possibly be on the side of the kid who killed our friend!" Isaiah opens his mouth to say something, but is cut off by Mitch's yelling. "We're supposed to feel bad for you, because the girl you liked is gone? Grow up! She never would have gone for you anyway! Think with your head!"

Silence floods the graveyard once more. Everyone waits for Isaiah to either say something, or pounce on Mitch. But that doesn't happen. Instead, Isaiah takes a deep breath, and walks back to the school. "...that wasn't cool, man." Aasim tells Mitch. "He punched me!" "Still..."
