Oh, that's heavy, man. I'm sorry for your loss.
Yeah, whatever. Don't worry about it.

He sits down at the bottom of his grave. "Hey, Lamar. No sign of the raiders yet. I'm on lookout duty tonight, so..." he trails off.

"I miss you. I miss the sound of you walking on floorboards. You have super distinct footsteps, so I can always tell it's you. Whenever anyone walks past our dorm, I always hope it's you. But it never is." He sighs. "I hate the fact I'm talking to a wooden cross and a pile of dirt with your bones under it. I wanna talk to you. Not the damn worms." He places his head in his hands. "Its so hard. That's what she said, but it's so hard to just do stuff without you, that's also what she said." Chuckling slightly, he stands up. "Rest easy, Lamar."

"Get the one-eyed mother fucker on lookout again, that's a smart idea..." Isaiah grumbles to himself whilst looking through the treeline. As he focuses a little more, he notices movement. The raiders are here. He jumps down from the lookout post and trips up, but gets up again and runs into the school. "They're here!" He calls out. Clementine appears, and begins to command everyone into their positions. "We're ready." Aasim tells her. "They've got at least four more people all carrying guns. And carts, probably to carry people away." Isaiah shudders. "If they get inside, I'll keep them focused on me." Clem explains. "That should give Willy and Mitch enough time to set up the bomb."
"I'll set it under those carts." Mitch says. "It'll work, I promise."
"If they manage to get in, we fall back." Clem continues to command. "To the admin building." Louis adds. "Exactly. Right into our traps."
"They're in for a rude fuckin' surprise." Aasim says. Isaiah turns to him and snorts. "Dude, that was so corny." "Shut up, anyways, those duffel bags will break bones easy." Aasim nudges Isaiah. "So, uh..." Louis begins. "Any final words of wisdom?"
Clementine thinks for a moment. "You've faced them and won, after all." He continues, referring to the encounter in the woods. "Well. Sort of." "Louis, shut it." Violet groans.

"No matter what happens," Clem steps forward, confidently. "Look out for-" BANG.

The bullet went clean through his skull.
The arrow was nothing compared to this. Isaiah's body dropped to the ground, limp and ragdoll like. It all happened so fast. It was like when Marlon was shot. Maybe it was like when Brody died. He wouldn't know. He'll never know. He won't remember anymore.

It's like he said, death can happen to anyone, at any time.
