41 - 𝗮𝗰𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀

I was kinda relieved after the talk with Pedri.

It felt so sudden but i was glad we talked it out.

"Tengo una pregunta (i have a question)" i asked him as i was driving us back to town. Driving Pedri back home.

"Uhm,sure" he replied,waiting for my question.

"What was going on with you and Lucía,honestly" i asked straight away. This question was stuck in my head and i just needed to know what they had together while i was fucking around with him.

"It's true that i have been texting with her before,during and after Qatar but we weren't a thing. We didn't have sex or kissed,i didn't even thought about it. In fact,i don't even know why i was replying to her. I guess because i was bored and didn't know what to do. Then we started doing whatever you call it but i felt bad ignoring her suddenly" he replied as i was driving and he was looking on the road.

"You could've told her you have something going on with someone else" i replied.

"That wouldn't be a truth,you said it yourself that our situationship meant nothing" i knew he would bring it up eventually. But the truth was,that i was scared that i would start catching feelings for him...

Which i kinda did but tried to push them away.

That's never going to happen.

"Can't we just start over?" I asked him,eyes still glued on the road.

"How over" he was confused,which was Understandable.

"I don't know,be acquaintance?" I suggested.

"Not even being offered a friendship" he scoffed.

"Crazy i know,but you have to earn it González" i pat his shoulder with one hand.

"Or we can start where we finished" he placed a hand on my thigh but i slapped it away.

"Want to get kicked out of car? Just say so" i warned him,making him smirk but he managed to hide it.

"We will get there princesa" he smiled.

"Princess my ass you asshole" i showed him a middle finger.

I drove him back and drove home since it was about 17:30 pm already.

"Querida,i'm happy to see you,you are spending too much time in your office" my mom pulled me into a hug as soon as i appeared in the hallway.

"A lot of work to do" i replied. I'm not gonna tell her that father's friend demanded money from me. No thanks,i don't feel like explaining it to anyone.

I went to take a hot steamy shower. I know it's not good for your skin but i don't care. I can freeze outside but not inside the shower. That's torture.

My thoughts were on today. What i did... First Pedri's lawyer comes to my office and says that Miguel Ramirez was just a greedy fraud who wanted money he already got back years ago and even more. Then me coming over to Pedri to yell at him for actually helping me out,but I apologized for that in the end. And me bringing him to the cemetery out of blue what the most unexpected thing i have done. I didn't even really plan to go there anytime soon. Well...never. But things got messy. He wanted answers and i was frustrated and tired of it all. And we sorted it out. I told him that I'm open to forgive him. Deep inside i did liked him after our situationship. Even when i recently told Alejandro that i might've caught feelings for his friend. But After that,i pushed them away and lt made me even more confused about him.
