I looked at the window to see Daryl telling his brother to come and let's go hunting. After a couple minutes Shane came back inside.

Shane's eyes locked on mine, his expression serious.

"Becca, every morning when I leave for work, I want you to promise me something."

"Anything,"

I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Promise me you'll lock the door behind me and won't answer it for anyone. Not even if it's Merle or his brother. Especially not them."

I nodded, feeling a chill run down my spine.
Here's a possible conclusion:

As Shane headed to the kitchen to start dinner, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. I knew that with Shane by my side, I could face whatever challenges came our way.

But I also noticed that since dad wasn't talking to him. He has been having a rough time at work because Dad is his partner but dad won't talk to him.

As i watched him move around the kitchen, his muscles flexing as he chopped vegetables and seasoned the meat.

My heart swelled with love and gratitude for this man who had become my rock, my protector, and my everything.

As we sat down to eat, Shane reached out and took my hand, his eyes locking on mine.

"We'll get through this, Becca,"

he said again, his voice full of conviction.

"We'll keep our family safe, no matter what it takes."

I nodded, feeling a sense of peace settle over me. I knew that with Shane by my side, we could face anything that came our way. And as we ate dinner together.

I knew that our love and our family would always be the strongest weapon against any threat that might come our way.

"I promise, Shane. I'll be careful."

Shane's face relaxed slightly, and he pulled me into a tight hug.

"I know you will. I just want to make sure you're safe. We'll get through this, Becca. Together."
