"Osamu! What kind of shit play was that? I set that ball perfectly and you completely missed!"

The gray-haired twin slid down the wall, clutching at his leg when he hit the floor. He would do anything, even giving up his dinner for a week, to make Atsumu stop shouting right now.

Aran sighed and put himself between the twins. "Come on Atsumu, everyone has an off day every now and then."

"An off day doesn't give him the excuse to miss every single ball for the last hour!"

"I'm sorry, Tsumu," Osamu muttered, "I just need a break." Normally he wouldn't hesitate to knock some sense into his brother, but today he just didn't have it in him.

He was prepared for Atsumu to make another rude remark when Kita walked into the gym and crossed his arms, glaring at the blond twin.

"That's enough. Atsumu, do you remember near the beginning of the season when you were sick and I sent you home?"

"Yeah, I guess."

Kita raised a brow and angled his head towards Osamu. "Has it occurred to you that maybe your brother is sick? And perhaps that you should cut him some slack? Just look at how pale he is."

Atsumu bit his lip and looked away from his brother and captain. "Do you really feel that sick?"

Osamu just nodded.

"Alright, enough talking." Kita helped Osamu up and glanced back to the rest of the team. "Don't forget that I'm in charge while coach isn't here. Work on whatever skills you feel you're lacking in, please. And no more fighting."

Osamu followed Kita to the locker room, limping slightly as he went. If the captain noticed, though, he didn't say anything.

Until they were alone, at least.

"Your leg is bothering you too?"

"Yeah. It's probably just growing pains, though. Tsumu had them awhile ago." Osamu shrugged and was about to start changing when Kita put a hand to his forehead. "Um...?"

Kita sighed and went to his locker where he kept spare snacks just for when his teammates got sick and handed a few to the twin.

"Your fever isn't too bad, but if it gets worse I think you should go see a doctor. For now you should at least go home and rest though."

"I will." Osamu gave his captain a small smile. Kita didn't always seem like the most caring person, be he always got concerned when someone on his team was sick.

"And don't worry about anything Atsumu said. Everyone is feeling a lot of stress right now, but I'm sure he'll be feeling bad about it soon enouh."

Atsumu barged into their bedroom, waking Osamu up from his nap, and sat on his knees in front of his twin's bed.

"I'm really sorry Samu! I know I was a complete jerk earlier and-"

Laughing, Osamu rolled over to look at his brother. "You look ridiculous right now."

"Hey, I am trying to apologize!"

Osamu looked at the bag next to Atsumu. "Does your apology come with food."

"Of course it does."

"Apology accepted then."

Atsumu sighed in relief and dragged his brother to the kitchen. "Why did you even go to practice if you knew you were sick? Or not at least tell me?"

"I don't know, it didn't seem that bad earlier. And it's only a month until the preliminaries for nationals, so I really didn't want to miss."

"Well if you're still sick tomorrow you're not going to practice."

Osamu rolled his eyes and smacked his idiot of a brother. "No duh. I'm not risking getting lectured by Kita again."

"Just eat your food and feel better, would ya? You get grumpy when you're sick."

"Do not."

The blond smirked. "Do too."

"Do not," Osamu muttered, this time frowning- and definitely more grumpy than he had been before.

"Whatever you say, Samu."
