After three days of Osamu not showing up to practice, the team was beginning to worry. And a certain person was pouting for the entirety of their last practice.

Atsumu smirked at Suna. "Is something bothering you?"

"Practice is so boring without your brother here."

"Speaking of, how is he doing?" Kita asked.

Running a hand through his hair, Atsumu sighed. "I'm not gonna lie, not great. My parents took him to the hospital last night. I was gonna go with him but he insisted I come to practice today."

"Alright, I think we should end practice today." Kita smiled and took the ball from Atsumu's hands. "We're in fine shape and we all have a lot on our minds right now.

"What? No, I'm fine-"

"I won't say it again. Go home, all of you."

Suna glanced between the two and nodded. "Kita's right you know." He grabbed Atsumu and started dragging him to the locker room. "Besides I'm sure your poor brother would love if you brought him some food."

"I think you're just scared to say no to Kita."

"You are absolutely correct."

Atsumu smiled and elbowed Suna. "And you're worried about my dear twin?"

His friend glared at him, but didn't object. Atsumu never mentioned it to either of them, but he had a feeling that something was going on between the two of them. Even if they didn't know what it was either.

Instead of provoking Suna further, Atsumu just shrugged. "I'm just gonna go straight home though. My mom texted and said Samu is home now."

Kosaku popped his head into the locker room and waved. "Hey, sorry to interrupt but Kita and Aran wanted me to ask you to say hey to Osamu for them. And for me too, since I'm here."

"What am I, a messenger service? Phones exist ya know."

"Better get going," Suna snickered, "you have a lot of messages to relay."

"Oh shut up."

"Oh, you're home early Atsumu."

"Yeah. We decided to end practice early today. So, how's Samu?"

His parents exchanged a nervous glance. "You should probably sit down, Atsumu."

"Can it wait until I say hi to Samu? Half of our team wants me to check in on him for them."

Atsumu's mom gave him a sad smile. "Your brother is resting right now, so why don't we just talk first, okay?"

"Okay sure. Although you sound like he's dying or something," he laughed.

His dad winced, and his mom wiped at her face, and suddenly Atsumu's smile dropped. "I was just joking...Is Samu okay?"

"Atsumu, your brother has bone cancer."
