As the cold December wind blew
And the littlest warmth you left me with flew
When the coldness of the night, summoned a phantom brewing a storm inside
Then it swallowed my flicker of light, 'til a part of me slowly died
And yet the stubborn side of me, beats a rhythm of hope and unsung melody
Cause maybe it was true, when I thought there was me and you.
