I was drowning that night losing my will to fight
Down to my last breath I was ready for death
I chose to give up yet you came and pulled me up
Speechless, I could only stare, then you left leaving my soul bare.
Enchanted, yes I am, the moment I stared at your eyes
You are a mystery that took me by surprise
You piqued my curiosity, you completely beguiled me
My world that has been always dark, in a different light I see.
You painted color to my life, you brightened up my day
I searched for you throughout the town, I have so much to say
And when I finally got to you I was taken aback
You uttered unexpected words to me like an attack.
But I was hardheaded and persistent, you see
I did my best, I followed you wherever you may be
And so I caught a glimpse of you and your reality
The angel who once saved my life was broken just like me.
