I felt the clarity peaking through the fuzziness once more. God, I was getting tired of this. I opened my eyes, unsure of where I was until I saw Dr. D looking at me from beside the table I was laying on. I began to push myself into a sitting position when I felt hands gently helping me up. I looked over to see the guy with roller skates on beside me gently smiling.

"Hey there. Im Show Pony. Try to take it easy, you've got quite a few injuries."

I nodded to him, feeling the pain in my right side again. I turned to Dr. D.

"Where am I?" I asked. I looked around seeing no one else in the room.

Weird, I thought there were more people here?

"You're at the radio station. Mine and Show Pony's base camp. We treated your wounds but like Show Pony said, you're gonna need to take it easy for a while. You look like you took a hell of a beating and a good few shots." He replied gesturing to the right side of my abdomen and my left leg.

"Oh, well... thanks for the help. And yea I'll take it easy. I gotta get going though." I said as I started to get off the table, but was stopped by Show Pony.

"One more thing." Dr. D said.

I sighed, "Yea?"

"What's your name?" he asked. I sat there for a minute questioning what he just asked before replying.

"Toxic Venom. It was nice to meet you guys but I really have to go."

With that, my mind was immediately flooded with memories. Who I am, who these people are, where I am. I was remembering.

I stared at Dr. D as he began to speak. I didn't hear much of it.

"...The reversal agent we gave you acts like Narcan. Whatever was causing your seizures was being used to suppress your memories. When we injected you, it brought those memories back."

I continued to stare at him.

"Do you remember what happened to you?"

I snapped out of my daze to answer him.

"Yea... you sent me on a mission into Batt City and my team got ghosted. Korse took me to BL/ind HQ and shoved a big ass needle in my neck. I don't remember how but I got away and now I'm here." I answered.

He looked at me with a confused expression, "That's it?"

"I think so, Korse must have knocked me out or something. How long have I been gone? Like three days?" I answered looking at Dr. D, he didn't say anything. I looked to Show Pony. He had shocked and sad expressions. "What? Somebody say something!"

"Toxic," Show Pony started, "you've been gone for three MONTHS."

What?

"I need a minute." I said after an awkward silence. Dr. D ushered Show Pony out of the room and came back to me. I got off the table and sat down in the chair I was previously in and faced him. "If that stuff you gave me brought back my memories of myself, why can't I remember the past few months? Has it really been three months?" I looked at him with a mixture of confusion and fear.

"It has been three months. We never stopped looking, I can promise you that. Korse had you under lock and key, we had no chance of getting you or any information about you from the missions we sent out." he paused, "As for the memories... I'm not quite sure. My best guess would be that it's a type of sedative, kind of like anesthesia. The reversal agent we gave you only targeted the drug that was giving you the seizures and blocking your stored memory. I think these may have been triggered by mentions of memories. A way for Korse to prevent you from hearing things about your past and remembering."
