Within seconds the entire field was covered in flames. But not just any flames, these flames were different. They were black.

No one was prepared for what was to happen next. It was like the sky was enveloped by a hurricane, as winds higher than anything they had seen came from seemingly nowhere.

Fintan immediately tried to get closer to Akari to help calm her down. But he wasn't even able to walk a step before the emissaries were grabbing him and talking him away.

As that was all going on the consoles that were there were all trying to get to Akari. Some were going as far as yelling at her to call in the fire.

But it was all futile. As nothing, not even the crackle of the fire could reach her ears.

It wasn't until Alden had come along with Elwin were they able to get even the smallest bit closer to her.

"We need someone she trusts!" Emery screamed over the loud sounds of the fire and yelling from his comrades.

"But who do we get?!" Was Alden's response.

It was silent between the three men as they were all at a loss for what to do, that was until someone voiced an idea.

"I might know someone who we could get, it's risky but it's still the best solution we've got." Della, who they didn't know was there, spoke up.

"Della!? What?! Never mind, who?" Alden said confused, seeing as he was unaware that she had anyone other than Sophie she trusted.

"Now hear me out, they are from Exillium. Their name is Linh. They have a twin named Tam. Both are pretty close to Akari and have gotten to hang out many times." "Ok that's great in all, but how do we find them? For all we know they could be anywhere in exile."

Emery was quiet for a moment before calling one of the others that didn't come to go and fetch the twins. He was unsure on how to feel about having the "Girl of Many Floods" here. But he needed to find a solution to their problem and fast.

It had taken about ten minutes to get the twins there, but when they arrived they were able to work together to get to Akari. Linh working on making a path for her and Tam to get through along with Elwin, and Tam using his shadows to reach out to Akari and calm her down that way.

It was not at all a fast process as every time they would get a bit further, the fire would get worse. But after several valuable minutes they were able to get to her.

As soon as they got to the small little "clearing" that Akari was in, Tam immediately ran to her, enveloping her in a hug trying to get her to breathe. But nothing he said was working as Akari just kept falling apart and breaking down.

It had gotten so bad that Elwin had to pull out a sedative to calm her down. As soon as he did, both the fire and wind storm stopped. Almost as if they didn't happen. The only reminder of them being the ash, fallen branches and fences everywhere.

All in all it was a very messy looking field. As the once beautiful field was now burned to nothing but ash. It was honestly quite sad to see.

After they were all able to get everything situated they left, taking an un-conscience broken kid along with two others who were the sole reason they got the situation under control.

But what they didn't know was that there was a certain fire user watching from the shadows, promising that they would protect this broken child.

A/N   Hey I'm so sorry for the delay for this chapter, I've had a lot going on and just haven't had the motivation to write anything. But I'm working on it! And I promise to get the next few chapters out sooner! Anyway, have a great day/night or what ever it is for you!
