"Dude, why haven't you told me!!! You and Thandar already kissed? Naurrrr way...." Lee exclaimed, eyes wide with excitement.

"We... di... did. But she said it was a mistake," Evan replied, his voice tinged with sadness.

"No, come on man. I think she's into you," Lee said, trying to lift Evan's spirits. "Tell me the details, dude. I'm rooting for the two of you."

Evan sighed, leaning back as he recounted the memory. "We went to a hotel. We had just four bottles of wine, and I couldn't hold it any longer. The temptation in that situation made me want to kiss her. And so I did. I stopped and told her I was sorry, but she kissed me back." Evan's eyes glazed over as he remembered the moment, the softness of Thandar's lips, the electricity that had sparked between them.

Lee couldn't help but smile, leaning in as if he were watching the most intense part of a drama. "Man, that sounds like something out of a movie."

Evan shook his head, still conflicted. "But she called it a mistake, Lee. I don't know if she really feels anything for me or if it was just the alcohol."

Lee patted Evan on the back. "Trust me, bro. Alcohol might make you brave, but it doesn't fabricate feelings. There's something there, you just have to help her see it."

As they shared their bromance conversation, Evan's phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and saw Thandar's name. His heart skipped a beat.

"She's calling," Evan said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Lee nudged him. "Well, answer it, dude!"

Evan took a deep breath and answered the call. "Hi, Thandar."

"Evan, can we talk? I need to clear some things up, I need to check something" Thandar's voice sounded nervous, yet determined.

"Of course, Thandar. When and where?" Evan asked, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Can you come over to my apartment? I think it's better if we talk face to face," she replied.

"I'll be there in 20 minutes," Evan said, already grabbing his keys.

He hung up and turned to Lee. "Wish me luck, man. This could be it."

Lee gave him a thumbs-up. "You got this. Just be honest with her."

Evan arrived at Thandar's apartment, feeling a mix of anticipation and anxiety. He knocked on the door, and Thandar opened it, looking equally nervous.
