"Hi, Evan. Come in," Thandar said, stepping aside to let him in.
They sat down in the living room, the tension between them palpable. Thandar took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts.
"Evan, about that kiss...," she began, her voice trembling slightly. "I've been thinking a lot about it. I know I said it was a mistake, but..."
Evan leaned forward, his heart pounding. "But what, Thandar?"
Thandar looked into his eyes, her own eyes filled with uncertainty. "But maybe it wasn't. I mean, I've been so confused about my feelings. You've been so kind and patient with me. And I don't know if it's because I'm scared to get hurt or because I've been holding onto a fantasy, but..."
Evan reached out and took her hand, his touch gentle. "Thandar, I don't want to pressure you. I just want to be honest with you. I really like you. I care about you. And I believe I can wait for us."
Thandar squeezed his hand, her eyes welling up with tears. "I'm scared, Evan. But since I'm really confused right now, maybe you can let me check something. Let's go on a date every weekend. If you can wait, then maybe wait for my answer. But don't expect too much because the feelings I have right now may be just excitement and not love."
Evan smiled softly. "I'll wait, Thandar. Let's take this one step at a time."
They decided to go on a date every weekend. As the days went by, Thandar found herself increasingly leaning on Evan. He supported everything she did, including her love for K-pop and K-dramas. She began to see how dependable and caring he was, and her initial confusion started to fade.
One weekend, as her birthday approached, Evan had a surprise planned. He sent Thandar the Enhypen concert ticket which was Thandar's biggest dream. He called Thandar with an air of excitement.
"Do you like my birthday gift for you?" Evan asked over the phone.
"You really like to spend your money, don't you? I mean, the tickets are so expensive," Thandar said, worriedly.
"I can spend more money if it means being with you, My Thandar," Evan replied sweetly.
Thandar couldn't help but smile widely. "Am I into him now?" she wondered, her heart fluttering.
When they arrived at the airport, Thandar was met with another surprise.
"Surprise! I invited Lai to come with us so you won't be bored watching your favorite idols," Evan said, beaming.
Thandar's eyes widened in disbelief and joy. She hugged Evan tightly. "Thank you so much! This is the best birthday ever."
The Concert
When they arrived at the venue, Thandar couldn't believe her eyes. She was about to see Enhypen, her favorite group, live. As the lights dimmed and the boys took the stage, she felt tears welling up.
Evan watched her with a soft smile, his heart swelling with happiness at seeing her so ecstatic. Lee and Lai joined in the excitement, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Thandar felt overwhelmed by the reality of her dreams coming true. She looked at Evan, her eyes sparkling with gratitude and something more—something deeper.
After the concert, they all gathered at a nearby café to celebrate. Thandar couldn't stop talking about the performance, her face glowing with happiness.
"Did you enjoy the concert?" Evan asked, his eyes never leaving her face.
"I loved it! Thank you so much, Evan. This means the world to me," Thandar replied, her voice filled with emotion.
Evan took her hand, looking deeply into her eyes. "I'm glad you're happy. I know it means the world to you and for me you are my world."
Thandar's heart skipped a beat. She realized in that moment that her feelings for Evan were not just excitement—they were real. She had fallen for him, his kindness, his patience, and his unwavering support.
As they sat there, surrounded by friends and the lingering excitement of the concert, Thandar knew she had to tell Evan how she felt.
"Evan," she began, her voice trembling slightly. "I think... I think I've fallen for you."
Evan's eyes widened in surprise and hope. "Really?"
Thandar nodded, tears of happiness in her eyes. "Yes. Thank you for being there for me, for understanding me. I want to be with you, Evan. It's been almost a year since we are together with no label and right now maybe we can put some labels now. Today I'm officially yours."
Evan pulled her into a gentle hug, his heart soaring. "I've been waiting to hear that, Thandar. I promise to always be there for you."
As they embraced, Thandar felt a sense of peace and joy wash over her. She had found someone who truly cared for her, and she was ready to start this new chapter of her life with him.
After that amazing event in LA, Evan and Thandar returned to the Philippines. Their relationship blossomed, with Evan showering Thandar with affection and making her feel special every day. He was like the green forest—a man every girl dreams of.
But after a month of dating, I made a heartbreaking decision. I decided to break up with Evan. I couldn't bring myself to tell him the reason. Instead, I choose to disappear.
I knew I had fallen for Evan, but doubts began to creep in. I questioned my feelings and wondered if I was really ready for a serious relationship. Confusion clouded into mind, leaving myself torn between my emotions and my fears.
I'm sorry Evan. I'm very sorry......
