"Hello, Philippines! We're back!" Elisa exclaimed as she and Dinoy returned home, eager to see their son. Evan had been insistent that they return quickly—there was someone he wanted them to meet.

At the House

"Hi, Mom, Dad! Welcome back!" Evan greeted his parents warmly, pulling them into a tight hug.

"Hello, Tita, Tito! Welcome home," came a familiar voice, catching Elisa and Dinoy by surprise.

"You look familiar..." Elisa said, squinting as she tried to place the face.

Evan smiled and stepped closer. "Mom, Dad, this is my girlfriend. I'm sure you've seen her in the news. That's probably why she looks familiar."

"How... How is that possible?" Dinoy chuckled, unable to hide his surprise. "Our son has a girlfriend?"

One Month Ago

"You want to date?" Karen asked, her tone serious, catching Evan completely off guard.

"Wait... What?" Evan was stunned, his mind racing.

"I'm here because of you, Evan," Karen said firmly. "I don't want to waste time. We've been going out for three weeks now, spending so much time together. I want to define what we are. I need to know my place in your life."

"Ah... ummm..." Evan stammered, struggling to find the right words.

"Can I be your girl? Your woman? Please, be my man, Evan. I love you," Karen continued, her voice softening as she poured out her heart. "I love you like I love the moon. I've always admired it from afar, but now... now, I want you to be my moon. Will you?"

Evan stared into Karen's eyes, searching for any hint of uncertainty, but all he found was sincerity. In that moment, he made his decision. He would give it a try—with her.

Present Day

"So that's how it happened?" Dinoy asked, trying to wrap his head around the sudden turn of events.

"Yes, Dad," Evan said with a smile, glancing at Karen with affection.

"Are you happy?" Elisa asked, her voice tinged with both hope and concern.

Evan's gaze softened as he looked at his mother, then back at Karen. "Yes, Mom. I'm very happy."
