A beautiful morning breeze gently brushed against Thandar's face as she stood on the balcony, sipping her coffee. Her phone buzzed with a message from Lai: *"I'm getting married!"*

Thandar nearly choked on her drink. She quickly dialed Lai, excitement and shock bubbling up.

"Lai, are you serious? You're getting married?" Thandar asked, a mix of disbelief and excitement in her voice.

"Yup!" Lai replied, sounding thrilled. "It's happening, Thandar! Can you believe it?"

Thandar laughed, "What?! You didn't even tell me you had a boyfriend, and now you're getting married? Are we still best friends or did you replace me with a wedding planner?"

Lai chuckled, "Well, surprise! And yeah, it's just sad I'm getting married before you. Guess I win the race to the altar!"

"Oh, please!" Thandar rolled her eyes. "Are you really making this a competition? Next, you'll be telling me your wedding dress is better than anything I'll ever wear."

"You bet it is!" Lai teased. "Wait until you see it. You might just call off your imaginary wedding out of pure jealousy."

Thandar laughed, but then she paused. "Wait... who's the lucky guy? Don't tell me it's someone I know."

Lai hesitated for a second before blurting out, "It's Lee."

"LEE?! As in our Lee?!" Thandar's jaw dropped.

"Yep, our very own!" Lai said, laughing at Thandar's reaction.

Thandar couldn't help but laugh along, shaking her head in disbelief. "This is going to be one wild wedding." Thandar paced around her living room, still processing the news. "I mean, Lee?! Lai, seriously! I never saw that coming. When did *that* happen?!"

Lai giggled on the other end of the line. "Well, it wasn't exactly sudden. We've been meeting up a lot lately, and one thing led to another. Before I knew it, he proposed!"

Thandar chuckled, "You and Lee? I'm still trying to wrap my head around this. The guy who once swore he'd never settle down? The same Lee who forgot his own birthday last year?"

"That's the one!" Lai said proudly. "He's changed, Thandar. And believe it or not, he's all about commitment now."

"Commitment? Lee?" Thandar snorted. "Is this the same guy who called a week-long fling a 'relationship' back in college?"

"Okay, okay, he wasn't exactly Prince Charming back then," Lai admitted with a laugh. "But people change! And trust me, he's everything I've ever wanted. We're actually in sync now. Plus, you should've seen him trying to be romantic. It was both adorable and... slightly awkward."

Thandar couldn't stop laughing. "I can't even imagine Lee being awkwardly romantic! Please tell me you recorded it."

Lai sighed, "I should've, but I was too busy trying not to laugh."

Thandar smiled warmly. "Well, I'm happy for you, Lai. Truly. I mean, it's crazy, but I'm so glad you found someone." Thandar couldn't help but feel a mix of curiosity and excitement bubbling inside her. She quickly texted Lai, "Let's meet up! Bring Lee too. I'll send the location."

Later that day, the three of them met up at a cozy café near the park. Thandar arrived first, sitting at a table by the window. When she saw Lai and Lee walk in together, she grinned mischievously. "Alright, you two lovebirds. What's the meaning of this? You've been in a relationship all this time, and you didn't even tell me? I mean, how did you manage to keep this from me?!"

Lai chuckled nervously, while Lee scratched the back of his head, looking guilty. "Well..." Lee started, "It's just that things were... complicated, you know?"

"Complicated?" Thandar raised an eyebrow. "You two? How?"

Lai chimed in with a playful smile, "Yeah, you had so much going on back then—like your med school stuff and family/love issues—so we didn't want to add to your plate. Plus, Evan didn't know either, so we figured we'd keep it low-key."

Thandar's jaw dropped. "Wait, Evan didn't know? You kept this a secret from him too? This is like a college drama I never got to watch!" She laughed, shaking her head.

"Trust me, it was harder than it looks," Lee grinned. "Trying to be romantic in secret was like sneaking snacks into a movie theater. You know you shouldn't, but you do it anyway."

Lai laughed, nudging Lee. "And this guy, trying to 'secretly' bring me flowers? He once showed up with a bouquet the size of a small tree! How were we supposed to keep that subtle?"

Thandar burst out laughing. "Oh my gosh, I can totally picture that! Lee, with a giant bouquet, acting all nonchalant."

Lee rolled his eyes playfully. "Hey, I was trying to be sweet! It's not my fault flowers don't come in stealth mode."

Thandar leaned back in her chair, still chuckling. "You two are something else. So, all this time, you were sneaking around behind my back, having your little secret romance. I can't believe I missed it!"

"Yeah, well, we're telling you now!" Lai said with a grin. "And don't worry, you'll get all the juicy details at the wedding. You better be ready for some surprises."

Thandar smirked. "Oh, I'm more than ready. But one thing's for sure—no more secrets! If there's anything else I should know, spill it now."

Lee and Lai exchanged a look and burst out laughing. "We swear, no more secrets... for now," Lee said, winking.

Thandar shook her head, smiling. "I can't believe this. My best friend and my 'secret agent' friend. What a combo!" So When is the wedding happened? Did your parents meet up already?

Yeah they already meet, the wedding is on Saturday Lee said with excitement.

As the most important day between Lee and Lai arrived. The moments to remembered will also remained as beautiful memories for people.

Thandar and Evan spotted each other from across the wedding venue. The air was light, filled with laughter and joy. But for a moment, as their eyes met, time seemed to slow down. Thandar smiled softly, and Evan mirrored it as they made their way toward each other. Karen was by Evan's side, but she stepped back to let them have a moment.

"Hey, it's been a while," Evan said, his voice gentle, carrying a quiet understanding.

"Yeah, it has," Thandar replied, stealing a quick glance at Karen before meeting Evan's eyes again.

"Good to see you," Evan added with a warm smile, already starting to head toward the exit.

Thandar watched as Evan and Karen walked away together, a soft sigh escaping her lips. "Maybe this is just another chapter in my book," she said, almost to herself.

Her brother, Theo, standing beside her, noticed the distant look in her eyes. "Are you happy for him?" Theo asked, tilting his head to get a better read on her emotions.

Thandar forced a smile, her gaze still lingering on Evan's retreating figure. "Of course. He's found the love of his life."

Theo shook his head with a teasing smirk. "I don't think so, sis. You're the beautiful lie, and he's the painful truth," he quipped, nodding toward Evan with a playful nudge.

Thandar laughed lightly, but inside, her heart felt a bittersweet tug. "Maybe," she whispered.
