As Jungkook approached Saanvi, he gave Ye-joon a slight shove, causing Ye-joon, who had been kneeling, to tumble onto the pavement. Jungkook positioned himself between Ye-joon and Saanvi, standing protectively.
Saanvi was taken aback, unable to comprehend how Jungkook had appeared so suddenly and why he was behaving in such a manner.
The unexpected turn of events left her bewildered and intrigued.
Saanvi was about to speak, "What are you do-" when Jungkook interrupted her, his voice trembling with emotion. "What are you doing, Saanvi? How could you do this to me?" he said, his impatience barely masking the tears he was holding back.
Saanvi's eyes widened in confusion. "Jungkook, what are you talking about?" she asked, her voice tinged with concern.
Jungkook's frustration was palpable. "Why does everyone turn a blind eye when it comes to my love? Why can't anyone see it?" His voice broke as he swallowed a lump in his throat. "Everyone can see that I love you, Saanvi, so why can't you? Why can't you feel it?" He wiped the sweat off his forehead. "You met me first, so how could you fall for Ye-joon? Why couldn't you love me? Why couldn't you see how much I love you?"
He sighed deeply, his voice heavy with resignation. "It's always my luck. Whoever I love, they never love me back. Why, Saanvi, why... Why can't you see my love for you?"
Jungkook's words hung in the air, and Saanvi stood there, shocked and bewildered. She glanced at Ye-Joon, who was now standing up, dusting off his clothes, and looking equally stunned.
"Aren't you going to say anything?" Jungkook asked, frustration seeping into his tone.
Saanvi blinked, coming out of her shock. "Jungkook, I don't understand-" she began, but Jungkook cut her off again, his eyes pleading.
"Why, Saanvi? Just tell me why," he whispered, his voice breaking.
Just then, Ye-Joon stepped forward from behind Jungkook, took the bouquet from Saanvi, and said, "Thank you, Saanvi, for holding this." He then turned to Jungkook and stammered, "A-actually, my shoelace came undone, and I was just tying it up. That's why I gave the bouquet to Saanvi to hold. She was here to help me choose flowers."
Jungkook looked confused, his anger slowly dissipating into bewilderment.
Flashback
On the phone: "Saanvi, please, please, please come quickly. It's an emergency... You're the only one who can help."
"Alright, I'm coming," Saanvi said, shocked.
"There's a flower shop nearby. Come here," Ye-joon said before hanging up.
Saanvi informed Y/n and rushed to meet Ye-joon.
"What happened? What's the emergency?" Saanvi asked, out of breath.
"I'm-I'm finally going to propose to my friend today, but I have no idea which flowers to choose. I thought you could help me and give me some tips on how to propose," he said nervously.
Saanvi, initially shocked, hit him lightly on the head. "Are you serious, Ye-joon? I thought something terrible had happened. Who calls for help like this?"
She encouraged him, helped him select the perfect flowers, and said, "Just say what's in your heart. There's no need for a script. Be yourself." Ye-joon nodded gratefully.
As they left the flower shop, Ye-joon's shoelace came undone. "Saanvi, could you hold this while I tie my lace?" he asked, handing her the bouquet.
