Evening Serenade

As the morning alarm rang, Saanvi woke up to find it was already 8 AM. She checked her phone and saw a message from Jungkook: "Sorry, Saanvi... I'm really sorry, but something important came up at the company, so we can't go on our date right now. But I promise we'll go for dinner this evening. I hope you understand." Jungkook had hesitated a lot before sending this message, worried that Saanvi might feel hurt. He had no other choice but to cancel the plan he himself had made.

Reading the message, Saanvi replied, "It's okay, Kook. Take your time. We'll go in the evening." Feeling content and reassured, she turned off her phone and happily drifted back to sleep.

After a while, Y/N woke up and noticed that Saanvi was still sleeping soundly. She walked over to Saanvi’s bed and gently shook her. "Saanvi, wake up! You're getting late... wake up!"

Saanvi groggily opened her eyes, rubbed them, and slowly sat up. "Oh girl, the date got cancelled. Let me sleep in peace," she muttered, clearly disappointed.

Y/N looked at her with concern. "Why? What happened? Is everything okay?"

Saanvi sighed and stretched her arms. "Yeah, everything's fine. Jungkook got called to the company for some urgent work. He said we'll go for a dinner date this evening instead," she explained, yawning.

"That's great, Saanvi! Since we have the whole day free now, let's go shopping. You need to buy a new dress for the date. What will you wear otherwise?" Y/N suggested excitedly, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Saanvi raised an eyebrow, a little confused. "Are you sure you're feeling okay? It's the second day of your period. You were in so much pain yesterday."

Y/N smiled reassuringly. "Yes, I'm totally fine. The medicine Taehyung gave me yesterday worked wonders. I feel much better today. That's why I'm suggesting we go shopping," she said, already planning their trip.

Saanvi smiled back, feeling reassured by Y/N's enthusiasm. "Alright, alright, let's go. But first, let's freshen up and have breakfast," she said, reluctantly getting out of bed. As she did, she playfully flicked Y/N on the head.

Y/N giggled and headed towards the bathroom to freshen up. Saanvi followed, thinking about what she might wear for the date later. After they both got ready, they made their way to the kitchen.

The kitchen was filled with the comforting aroma of fresh coffee and toast. They quickly prepared breakfast, chatting and laughing about random things. Saanvi couldn't help but feel excited about the evening. Despite the sudden change in plans, she knew it would be special.

As they finished their breakfast, Y/N clapped her hands together. "Alright, let's hit the shops! We have a lot to do and I can't wait to see you in a stunning new dress!"

Saanvi laughed, feeling her spirits lift. "Okay, okay, let's go! Today is going to be fun," she said, grabbing her bag and following Y/N out the door.

The whole day was spent shopping, and both girls enjoyed every bit of it. They started their adventure at the city's largest mall, filled with a variety of stores. Saanvi and Y/N wandered through countless shops, trying on different outfits and giggling like schoolgirls at their reflections in the mirrors.

Saanvi finally found a beautiful one-piece dress for her date. It was a stunning shade of mauve, adorned with intricate patterns of pearls and stones. The dress reached just above her knees and hugged her body perfectly, accentuating every curve elegantly. As she stepped out of the fitting room, Y/N gasped. "Saanvi, you look gorgeous! Jungkook is going to be speechless."

Y/N wasn't far behind in finding her own treasure. She picked out a frock that she absolutely loved. It was a delicate blend of ice green and white, with a beautiful intricate thread design that gave it a whimsical touch. "This is perfect!" Y/N exclaimed, twirling in front of the mirror.
