3) Training

>THIRD PERSON POV♡

"Well, I suppose I should tell you more about the Demon Slayer Corps!" Keizo starts, which piqued the young girls interest. He gives her a warm smile, before continuing.

"The Demon Slayer Corps consists of a few hundred members, which is simply not enough by my standards. The Corps is not recognised by the government, and it has been in action for roughly 1000 years." The girl listens intently as Keizo continues explaining. She can't believe its been so long since it started, not to mention that demons actually exists.

"Now, no one knows for sure how they began to exist, but there are some things that have been found true: The demons must eat humans in order to survive and to gain special abilities, for example gaining superhuman speed and regeneration, or unlocking their blood demon art."He says, confusing and scaring the girl. Demons eat humans? For power? And what are blood Demon arts?

"Sensei, what ate blood demon arts?"She asks, a hint of curiosity in her voice as she waits for his response. "Well, a blood demon art or a BDA for short is a demons superpower. For example, a demon could have an ice blood Demon art that can generate ice. Their blood demon arts are made of their blood, so you can guess how it got its name. Now back onto my explaining, save your questions for later!"Keizo orders, before continuing.

"Now, they can't be injured by normal weapons. Their only confirmed weaknesses are wisteria, and the only ways for them to die are by exposure to the sunlight or decapitation by a weapon made out of nichirin."

"Now, there are special people like me called 'cultivators', which train new slayers. They all have different techniques and breathing styles for their students."

Keizo explains, before listing all of the main breathing styles: flame breathing, water breathing, wind breathing, stone breathing and thunder breathing. He also mentions that there are two more breathing, sun and moon breathing. It is said that sun breathing is the original breathing from whom which all the other breathing are derived from, but no sun breather has been found for hundreds od years. Then comes moon breathing, which is deemed the second strongest breathing. There has only been one sun breather and one moon breather recorded in history of the corps.

The sun breather is deemed to be the creator of all breathing styles, but the sun breather is dead. Keizo then mentions that the current strongest demon slayer is the moon hashira, the only person to ever be able to use that breathing style.

"Now that all of that is said... if you truly wish to become a demon slayer, then you must survive the final selection which is held at Mount Fujikasane. I am the one who will decide whether or not you will qualify to participate in that event."

Half a year has passed since Nezuko started her training. She has descended down Mount Sagiri numerous times, and during that time, the traps have became deadlier.

The next part of her training has begun. Keizo is teaching her how to use sword. He explains how slicing along the direction of the blade is the way to make a cut and that it may break when used incorrectly.

She is then taught to get back up after a fall, before being taugt breathing forms. But, when Nezuko is instructed to take a deep breath, she is punched in the stomach for her wrong method.

During that time, Tanjiro has fallen asleep for a long time without waking up once. Worried that he will die soon and that all her efforts would go to waste, Nezuko forces herself to train harder to keep her last family member alive.

Now, her final task is to...

>NEZUKO POV♡

Oh god, as Keizo said, it's been a year already. Tanjiro still hasn't woken up which concerns me a lot. Keizo told me that my last task until i qualify for the final selection is to cut this boulder in the middle. "Trough the whole boulder.. it should be easy, right? Its just a boulder... a big... hard, boulder. Well, lets hope for the best!"I said to myself.

I prepeare my blade for the cut, before going for it. As soon as the blade touches the boulde, it(the blade) shakes under the impact, and so do I. "Agh!" I let out a yelp as my body shakes before falling onto the ground.

"This may prove to be a lot harder than I thought.."

Yeah, sorry for making this chapter shorter. Just started writing again haha! I swear I'll update tomorrow, even though pretty much no one is reading this anymore :D
