My First Crush: Percival
---Hey, it's Kara! Welcome to the first chapter of my crush chronicles.
So, let's dive right in. My personality? Definitely unique. My first crush was in primary school—his name was Percival. Handsome, smart, and someone I've known since we started school together. I didn't really understand why I liked him back then, but now I know I'm drawn to smart guys with genuine smiles. He even reminded me of a young celebrity!
Percival was that guy—everyone adored him. He played sports, had tons of friends, and came from a great family. Meanwhile, I was the 'weirdo' in class, not really fitting in. We shared a table, but our interactions were limited to school.
Looking back, I'm proud I never blurted out my feelings for him.
Being unique didn't mean I'd be accepted, and I didn't want to risk it. I never told anyone about my crush—not even my family.
Reflecting on it, I've learned that you don't owe anyone an explanation about who you like or why. Embrace those feelings, learn from them, and don't be embarrassed.
I've thought about searching for him, but ultimately decided I'm good where I am.And that's the story of me and my first crush, Percival.
With love,
Kara

Writer's Notes
Hi, it's Yonnae! I hope you all enjoy this. I apologize for delaying the main story, "We VS The World," but I'm aiming to release it this year. In the meantime, I'm starting with a side story featuring Leonora, a character who mirrors a lot of my traits.
I've really grown to love Leonora—she's tough, though sometimes too stubborn. She's learning to understand vulnerability as a human, which makes her journey even more relatable for me.
I hope you connect with her story as much as I do!
With love,
Yonnae
