"At least we know the Kalkara didn't kill her!" Samantha gasped as they stopped running. The tracks stopped in front of the plateau, then started again at the top. "I admit I'm petrified of confronting a full grown Kalkara even with the two most famous Rangers ever." Kane whispered to Samantha. She grinned in return. "Well, here goes nothing." Will said as he lead the group up the plateau and into the one way cave entrance. "This is a lot bigger than I expected, actually." Samantha murmured to Kane. He nodded acknowledgement. Samantha heard a slight shuffle to her left and nudged Will. He heard it too and walked towards it. Behind a boulder, lay a squirming figure. "Oh my god..." Will muttered as he tried to untie Emily, who was wrapped in very tightly knotted ropes. "Go away! It's a trap!" Emily hissed. "We know it's a trap silly." Will whispered. "We?! Oh my gosh no..." Emily quietly groaned. "Well, well, well... The pleasure is all mine. My name, if you haven't already guessed, is Malvinic. This is Gerarld the genovesan and this is Jafar, Yusal's son, he told me that Will and Halt would remember him the most-is that correct? Yes? Well, we are going to have to spend a lot of time together, because, our plan is to make absolute sure that the Skandians go to war with Araluen.-" "why would they do that?!" Emily interrupted. "It's rude to interrupt! But alright, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you ARE in fact Erak's daughter, so, being that he is close to madness worrying about you, he will send Borsal and Svengal to visit and get you back. When they are attacked by Gerarld and Jafar and my followers, they will think that 'good King horace' told them to and a war will begin." As Malvinic kept jabbering on about his plan, Samantha nudged Kane, signaling him to use his running skills to warn the Baron and the King. Jafar saw this action and came towards them. "Now what was that about?" He asked rhetorically. Samantha looked him straight in the eye and said, "You do realize that you look like a goat, right? I mean, as a kid I can be brutally honest but, that beard is just, pushing your face to it's extent, don't you think?" Now, Jafar evil as he is, also loved fashion. And, he was intrigued to find out the child's opinion on his attire. "Really? What do you have in mind?" Keeping her composer, she told him what she did to everyone-the truth. "Well, if you cut of the beard, lost the hat thing and the staff-you look like a wannabe Merlin-and maybe grew out that mustache I'd say an inch or so, then put a hint of blush on your nose to make it a little paler then maybe polish your sword god! It looks like it's nearing rust!" Samantha's words hit Jafar like a whip. "I just got it polished a few days ago-" "JAFAR! QUIT CONVERSING WITH THE CHILDREN! Malvinic yelled. "This conversation is NOT over young lady." Jafar said as he walked away. "Now!" Samantha mouthed and Kane took off, unnoticed. Samantha sighed quietly a few minutes later, thankful that he made it out. "Wait, where's the boy?" Malvinic mused. It had been around 15 minutes, and no one had made a sound. Emily, Will and Halt looked at Samantha gratefully, knowing who told him to go.
