BLACK WIDOW
CHAPTER EIGHT
Birthday Girls•
I shuffled on my toes on Rhea's doorstep, waiting for her to answer the door. Trying to think about what I was going to say.
Hey, I'm here to maybe cheat on my boyfriend with you.
Hey, I was just really horny thinking about you, can you help me out?
Hey, can you show me?
Hey, I want to know how it feels to eat a pussy, can you lie down and-
The door opened, turning my mind blank as I looked up. Unable to form a single word now, because Rhea didn't answer the door.
It was the brunette woman I'd seen Rhea with before. "Can I help you?" She asked me, as comfortable and confident, yet disgusted and confused as ever, eyeing me down like I was a legitimate threat.
I cleared my throat, there was no sign of Rhea, yet her car was still here. "Um- sorry, I-"
"Kayla, who's-" Rhea appeared beside her, confused as to who was at her door. Her face softened out when she saw me. She had pink flushed skin, comfortable trackpants and a jumper on. Wet hair, like she got out of the shower. Now that I'm looking, this woman, Kayla, also has wet hair. Like they both had a shower. "Riley, hey." Rhea said with a smile, staring at me, then it's like she realised Kayla was beside her. "This is my friend, Riley. Riley, this is Kayla."
"Hi." Kayla said and didn't greet me warmly.
I smiled at her, then watched Rhea speak again. "Can you give us a minute." She said to Kayla.
Kayla nodded slowly and turned away, leaving.
I really wanted to leave too, since it was obvious that was her fucking girlfriend, or something close to.
"Is everything ok?" Rhea said, peering out to my house like she could see if something was going on.
I rubbed the back of my head. "Yeah- yeah, I'm just-" I stumbled over my words which wasn't helping me. "I don't know why I come here, sorry-"
"Why did you come here?" Rhea stood taller and stepped a little closer.
I shrugged and took some of my own steps back. "I don't know, I'm just gonna go-"
Rhea grabbed my wrist to stop me, and I looked at her face. "Kayla isn't my girlfriend." She whispered, scanning over my face to try and get a read on me. Confirmation as to why I came here, but I had a feeling she knew.
She told me she was single, but it was obvious they had something going on, and I didn't want to be in the middle of it, like she offered for me. Kayla seemed... She seemed to literally find me as a threat, they were something.
"It's none of my business if you do, Rhea." I pulled my arm out of her hold. "Really, it's fine." And I turned away to head down the stairs.
I heard Rhea curse softly, and then go inside, not saying anything else either.
