Lani and Lena shared an extraordinary connection that outshined the usual bounds of friendship. They often referred to themselves as soulmates, convinced that they were deeply attuned to each other's thoughts and emotions.
Their unspoken understanding was deep, and they supported each other unwaveringly, no matter how absurd the situation. They affectionately dubbed themselves the "delulu duo," recognizing that they often found themselves in amusingly misguided adventures.
Their bond was built on absolute trust; they confided in each other without reservation, knowing that they would never be judged. Their mischievous tendencies sometimes led them to enlist the help of their friends Sam and Peter, much to the amusement or annoyance of others.
"Did you hear that Steve is now making TikTok videos?" Lena remarked to Lani, and with a single glance, they both erupted into laughter.
Lena struggled to compose herself as she recounted how she and Peter had introduced him to the popular app. At first, he was against it but with Yelena and Peters's help he learned to love it and now he was low-key addicted to it.
"But is he posting any of them?" Lani inquired, fascinated by the idea of Grandpa Steve embracing modern technology in such a surprising manner.
"Yes, he is. But he is still so confused by it and he gets so flustered when girls leave him dirty comments it's so funny to watch." Lena explained, laughing at the memory of Steve blushing when he read in the comments how fuckable he is. "Omg Lani, what if we have some fun with him? We could film some videos with him and then edit them into thirst traps just to make him blush and flustered." Lena exclaimed in excitement making Lani chuckle as she and her best friend schemed their mischievous plan.
After finalizing their devious strategy, they looked at each other's outfits smirking at the matchy gray sweatpants that lay low on the hips and the white crop top that reached just above the belly button exposing Lani's piercing.
They walked out of her room and down the stairs, entering the main room where Steve, Sam, Bucky, and Peter were gathered. Steve was entertained with a book, while the others were engaged in a video game.
"Hey guys, we're bored," Lani announced as they approached the couch looking at the guys wanting to catch their attention.
"And why is that our problem?" Bucky retorted without shifting his gaze from the TV screen. Lan
"We thought we could help you with your TikTok, Steve. We've got some time and would be happy to assist," Lena offered, while Lani shot daggers at the uncooperative Bucky.
Steve raised an eyebrow as he looked up from his book. "You? You want to help? Yelena, last week you said you wouldn't assist with my 'shit social media' because you have something called a life," he remarked.
Lani stifled a laugh and quickly covered it with a cough not wanting to give away their plan. Peter looked up from his console and smirked at her knowing they were up to something.
"That was like last week, Steve. We want to help now. Trust me Lani and I will make you the most followed TikTok user on the app," Lena reasoned with the suspicious super soldier trying her hardest to look innocent.
"I think it's a trap," Sam remarked, still fixated on the TV screen not even sparing a glance at the girls.
"Definitely," Bucky added, shooting a playful smirk at them, but he did a double-take when he saw the dangerously low-waisted sweatpants on Lani's hips.
His eyes roamed her body stopping when a small silver thing caught his eye, it was a simple piercing with a small diamond and little beads hanging off of it. He averted his gaze back to the TV when Sam yelled at him for crashing into his car in the game, but his mind was still occupied with the small silver thing, he didn't particularly understand it but he liked it.
