On a Friday night, the dynamic duo found themselves restless and bored. The Avengers had embarked on a mission, and Tony, not wanting to leave his daughter alone, allowed Lena to stay home. Little did he know, it was a decision that would prove to be a mistake.
They had only been away for one night, so what could go wrong? Thankfully, they weren't in the mood for a big party. Their initial plan was to throw a Tony Stark-style bash, but they ultimately decided against it, opting to forgo a large crowd and instead agreeing to enjoy each other's company over a few drinks."Hey, Lani, I've been meaning to ask – what's the deal with Buck? Do you like him, or are you just into his arm?" Lena had a way of cutting straight to the chase, taking Lani by surprise with her directness.
"Lena!" Lani's laughter reverberated through the room as they sipped on her father's cherished, top-shelf Schoch and listened to their beloved tunes.
"I don't know, I think it's just a silly crush, nothing more. And no, I don't think about the arm in that way, you pervert!"
Lena shot her a knowing smirk, causing Lani to roll her eyes and blush. "Sure thing, honey. Keep denying it to yourself."
Lani found herself lost in contemplation about Bucky. "I wish we didn't have to deal with these annoying guys sometimes. I'd rather be dating you if you were a guy," she mused, taking a gentle sip from her glass.
"Aww, Lani, I would date you too," Lena replied, flashing a warm smile at her best friend, which led to both of them giggling.
As the hours slipped by, they found themselves still engrossed in conversation. They transitioned from drinking Schoch to sipping on Vodka mixed with orange juice. They laughed, danced, and let loose, casting aside any worries as they took a break from dancing to call Friday and order a pizza.
As they waited, they settled onto the cozy couch and flicked on the TV. A movie they didn't recognize played on the screen, so they decided to chat instead.
"Goodness, Lena, we need to expand our social circle," Lani teased as they lounged on the couch, each clutching a slice of pizza.
"I'll have you know I do have other friends," Lena replied, causing Lani to burst into laughter, not buying her best friend's claim for a second.
"Sure, like who? Don't say me," Lani challenged.
"You" Lena shot back, prompting both of them to erupt into laughter.
"Okay, wise guy, who are your other friends? And don't say me," Lani probed further.
"You" Lena repeated, sending them both into fits of hysterical laughter, bordering on tears.
"See neither of us have friends," said Lena once they calmed down.
As the clock struck 3 AM, the effects of the liquor began to take hold, emboldening them and causing their inhibitions to fade away. As they played the game of "fuck, marry, kill" featuring the Avengers, the conversation became increasingly focused on the reasons behind choosing a specific hero to sleep with, inadvertently overshadowing the "marry and kill" aspects of the game.
"Okay so enough about Loki's big dick energy, it's your turn again. So tell me Lani, fuck marry kill Bucky, Sam, and Peter."
Lani pondered the matter carefully in her mind before confessing without holding anything back.
"Hmm, definitely fuck Bucky... I'd want Bucky to choke me with his vibranium arm." Lani nervously bit her lip, stealing a quick glance at Lena's smirking face. A warm blush began to creep its way onto her cheeks, betraying her embarrassment.
"See I knew it was about the arm!" Lena couldn't contain her amusement as she burst into laughter at the sight of the blushing brunette sitting in front of her.
