It's been a week since I dropped off my CV's and ever since I have been waiting for a SMS or a call back to tell me that I need to come for an interview but so far nothing, not a single one. On the other hand I've meeting new people and kinda making friends.

A few days ago I went out with Lily and it was so much fun, we went out to the movies and watched the movie Tarot, an absolute horror. Well I mean not too much I just don't like horror movies, after that we went bowling (absolute fun but I lost miserably 😂) and then we went out to eat.

We've been hanging out everyday since for like coffee or taking walks with Donut and it's nice I enjoy her company, her husband joins us sometimes too he's sweet. Also I met a few of my neighbors, there's Angela next door to me. She's has a dog too, middle aged, divorced, works from home as a financial advisor and enjoys walks at the beach.

Then there's Eric on the other side of me, he's tall, white with blonde hair and blue eyes. He's really cute but unfortunately gay and he's in an on and off relationship with this guy named Derek who's a complete jerk (according to Angela), he's works for a security company and loves going to the gym.

Speaking of gym, your girl has been showing up for herself, I've been to the gym at least twice and it was really fun. I plan on being consistent with it, even more so because the gym is so close to my apartment and a lot of the tenants from here go there so it'll be a nice way to be seen and get to know people ( I met Eric at the gym).

Also the second semester is starting in 3 and a half weeks and I am so excited. I mean job or not I'm going to register and then everything will sort itself out. I have been daydreaming about this for  months and now finally I'll get to make it happen. Like I gotta a whole list of things I want to do/accomplish in 5 years and so far I'm doing great with it since I've ticked off: getting my own apartment, my own car, moving to a completely new city, getting a dog, starting Varsity and a few other things.

Another thing I added was meeting my grandmother after all these years, I honestly I don't even know if she's still alive or if she'll welcome me after all she's the one who disappeared from my life all those years ago. It troubled me so much for so long because I  always wondered what I did for her to just leave me like that but hopefully I'll get the answers I want when I finally have the balls to go to her.

Another entry to the list was to become an influencer, mainly for hair and fashion because I absolutely love both. I mean I always see the gorgeous girlies getting paid to create content and they get free clothes and hair. Plus it would be so cool to work from anywhere and just making a living off content creation.

Anyways I gotta send a few emails to other places that are hiring because this job hunting journey doesn't stop until we win, which I'm hoping we'll be soon so I can get out of the house. I'm a homebody I admit but I also have my limits and I'm slowly getting to it.

After sending my emails I get Donut ready for a walk, today it'll be just be me and her cause Lily and her husband have plans. We usually walk to a park that's about 20 minutes, I really enjoy our walks and I can tell that my baby does too. I pack my bag, get snacks and walk out the house.

I greet Mike and Andy on my way to the elevator, I get in and press ground. I walk out of the apartment block and begin my walk, the weather today is so nice, peaceful and bright. The sun is out and sky is clear and blue, it's warm too. I love this kind of weather because life just feels a bit nicer whereas when it's cold everything just feels gloomy and depressing.

As I am walking I see a really cute flower shop and I see a middle aged Asian lady attending to the flowers displayed outside of the shop and now I feel like buying me a bouquet of pink roses. I walk up to her and she doesn't see me because she's focused on what she's doing with this smile on her clearly she's enjoying herself.
