"This is Primrose my new friend, she just moved here recently" Eric introduces me with a smile. He pulls a chair out for me and I sit, then he pulls his own next to me. " Pleasure to meet you Primrose, my name is Priya" one of the ladies speaks, she's a pretty Indian lady and has a warm energy about her.

After her the rest of the group follows with introductions, there's Mason, Daniel, Bailey ( Daniel's girlfriend). Then last but not least there is Victor, who has been staring at me since I sat down and by the look on his face I'm not sure if he's happy that I am here or not.

" It is a great pleasure to meet all of you and I hope I'm not intruding by joining you guys" I say with a nervous smile. " No not at all, the more the merrier" says Bailey.

" Plus a friend of our little Eric is a friend of ours as well" says Max with a smirk.

"Little Eric! Really? You say that like I'm younger than you!"

"No not younger but you are shorter than me Little Eric" says Mason

" By a few inches! It doesn't count for much!"

" Hmm it does too me, little Eric. " Mason ends it with a big smile.

Mason is clearly the clown in this group, I like his energy though, very warm, welcoming and childlike. We all get settled and the waiters bring the menus, with small talk being made around the table. I on the other hand am having a hard time even breathing because of the man sitting next to me.

On my left  sitting there is Eric and then on my right sitting there is Victor, he makes me feel nervous and it's insane. With the way that I am feeling sitting here right now, it's safe to say that I am attracted to him. He's tall, has beautiful jet black hair and beard that connects, he smells so good and his suit fits him so well.

He is wearing a blue suit and a black shirt, a silver watch that looks like a Rolex. I don't think I'll even be able to eat or act right with him being so close to me, I hate crushes.

" Do you see anything you like Rose?" Eric stops my train of thought with a question. To be honest I'm so indecisive, everything looks good and I can't pick one.

"Honestly I don't know what to pick, I like everything I see here!" I respond. Priya looks at me and laughs " I totally get your dilemma, everything I see on this menu just fits".

" You should try their chicken and mushroom pasta, it's really good" says Victor, I turn to look at him and he is looking right at me. For a minute my brain goes numb.

" Okay thank, I'll give it try it sounds good" I respond looking at him. The waiter comes back to take our orders, I decide to try the pasta along with a glass of white wine.

" So Rosie how are you liking our area, are you loving it or you have regrets?" Asks Daniel, who is sitting across me with his arm draped over his girlfriend's chair. She's literally gorgeous and they look so good together

" Honestly I am living my best life, so far everything is going well and I have no regrets whatsoever. I mean I'm obsessed with my apartment, everything I enjoy doing is literally a walking distance from me plus so far everyone I have interacted with has been kind and friendly to me." I respond.

Honestly I don't think I can put into words how happy I am, I mean this entire experience is incredible and every day no matter how mundane has me wanting to pinch myself because I can't believe that I moved on my own, have my own place and I am now an independent girl.

" That's nice, so where did you live before this if you don't mind me asking?" Asks Bailey.

" I lived in Pietermaritzburg"
