Today is the day... It's the day of the big battle. There is utter chaos right now and the fact that we aren't even fighting yet is kind of telling as to how big this day is for everyone. There are some that have been trying to make themselves noticeable to the king and there are some that have been going through so many battles with us and they are just getting ready for the inevitable. They are not exactly thinking the worst, but they know better than to keep their hopes too high.

Liam was getting greasy to fight along the side of the king and as I was watching move around our room, I couldn't help but be a bit nervous about it. I know that he is a good fighter. He is actually the best one around here. He would train me on new skills and tricks to win any kind of fight. He is the person who trained almost all of the warriors. I did train a good amount of them, but the majority was Liam's doing. It's seriously not a bad thing to me, but Louis and Harry would look at Liam first when it comes to fighting, but Harry is the one who would look at me when it comes to the planning and would rely on me more than anyone (besides the king of course) for protection.

I am happy that they do rely on me for certain things though. Because I do want them to know that they can go to me for anything.

Anyways, when Liam was done getting dressed, he turned around and looked at me. He smiled at me softly and walked over to where I stood. He placed his hands on my hips and I looked up at him. I took a deep breath and finally started to relax. I know that I will need to mostly need to relax when this is over, but at the same time, I always tend to feel relaxed when I'm around him.

"This is the day my love. Are you ready? I'm aware that you keep on saying that you have no other choice, but it's still highly important for me to know where my lover stands mentally," he asks and I smiled at that. He is really the sweetest. "I am really okay Liam. I'm just worried for you is all. You are going to be on the actual battlefield, so there is a higher chance that you would get hurt than me." "And if that is the case, then we will have medics there to take care of me," he reassured, but I was still anxious. "I know that, but there is still a chance that you could get badly hurt. To the point of no return," I said back to him and he took a deep breath.

"Well, all that I can say to this is... Be ready for anything. I can't say that it can't happen, because it can. However, I can promise that I will fight with every fiber in my body. I will not give up and I will not surrender. I will make it back. I promise to make it back. I will be back in no time, understand?" He asked in reassurance and even though I want to put in a rebuttal, I knew that he was going to just continue to make me feel more and more hopeful. I know that he is going to try his best to get back to me and I know that there is a likely chance of him coming back to me.

I instead walked closer to him and he took that as an opportunity to hug me close to him. We held each other and we even swayed a little got a good minute before I started to pull away.

"We are going to get through this, yeah? We are going to fight this and we are going to come out on top. I believe in you," he spoke to me softly and pressed a soft kiss to my forehead.

I kissed him on the cheek and we shared one more hug before Liam had to go and meet with the king. They were all about to depart from the castle. Which means that the place is left to the protectors and to our sleeping queen. I walked down the hall and before all left, I bumped into Niall and the two of us shared a small hug.

"I just gave the queen his normal dosage of blood, but I don't know how long it will last as we really dont know how long this battle will be. He would need another dosage during the night as it will need to satisfy him in his slumber." "What should I do when that time comes?" "You should be okay for the most part. Hopefully this battle won't last for so long. I should be back by the time the moon rises. I just need to reserve some for sir Payne and for the king." "I understand. Please make sure that both of them are okay," I pleaded and Niall looked at me with sympathy.
