It was the next morning, both you and Randal had already finished eating your breakfast. You didn't want to eat breakfast because you usually weren't hungry right in the morning but Luther insisted, saying that you need a healthy meal in the morning so that you'll have energy during the day. You didn't want to seem rude to poor man so you complied, sitting at the table and eating some blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon. The food was decently tasty—would've been much more pleasant if Randal didn't get in your bubble at the table, scooting his chair closer to yours until the both of your chair legs were right up against each other...
You were laying up in your bed, enjoying the silence within Randal's room. It was important to take up all the time you had with the peace of silence due to how Randal is. Your eyes wondered over to the display of dolls in his room, cringing at the oddly disturbing aura that surrounded them. Those doll-like eyes seemed to bore into your skin as if they were keeping an eye on you until Randal walked into the room.
You let out a groan of annoyance when you heard that voice from the hall. You put a hand over your eyes, cursing under your breath. "Y/n...~" Randal called out to you as he walked into the room with a weird smile showing all of his teeth. You grunted in response. "Don't you want to play with me...?"
"No."
"Why not? As friends, we need to play together!"
"Uh, says who? Cause it better not be you." You retorted with insolence. Randal let out a giggle, kneeling beside your placement on your bed.
"We can play with my dolls but they've be kinda quiet lately..."
"Their supposed to be quiet, idiot. Dont let that freakish mind of yours affect your way of reality."
Randal chuckled at that. "Too late! Maybe we can watch a slasher movie? Eat some snacks? Or maybe we can play Pin the Tail on the Donkey Person!" Randal kept listing these strange and surreal games that you didn't even know existed in the first place—so for the safety (and for you not caring.) you shut them all down.
"I have a game we can play." You insisted. Randal perked up at the sound of that.
"Ooh! What is it?"
"The quiet game."
"...But Y/n—"
You hushed him, closing your eyes as you let a breath go through your nostrils. A small smile was placed on your lips with relaxation and calmness. Ah yes, the feeling of solitude ran through your body, something that you very much needed within this atmosphere.
You opened your eyes to peek over at Randal who had an unamused expression on his face. "Doesn't it feel nice?" You whispered. "Putting your mouth at rest with all the talking you do must feel real good, hm?" You teased along with a snicker.
"Can't we play a real game? This is boring..."
"You see how you can't stop being a pain? Now you understand how I feel." Randal clicked his tongue in annoyance at you, frowning. "Come on, lighten up." You reassured. "You're doing something with me—and you never do stuff with me!"
"That's because you don't want me doing stuff with you."
"Exactly! Now, you are!"
"But I want to do something fun with you! Being quiet isn't any fun..." Randal mumbled. Seems like the two of you have different kinds of fun but don't worry, you'll change his mind.
"Think about it," You started. "this is all like a play date!"
"...Date?" Randal felt the blood rush to his cheeks. A sinister smirk appeared on your lips as you continued on with your persuasion.
"Mhm! Just me and you and you and me alone...doesn't that sound exciting? Maybe you can join me in bed?" You urged. grabbing his hand.
Randal felt a bead of sweat forming on the palms of his hands as he gazed deeply into your eyes, filled with an unmistakable intensity of adoration. The way you met his gaze conveyed unwavering encouragement and love, a rare and precious connection. Every touch, every word of praise, and every moment spent together was absorbed by Randal, leaving a lasting impression on his heart.
Thats why he didn't waste zero time crawling into bed with you, feeling his body turn hot due to how close the both of were to each other. "See?" Randal flinched when you wrapped your arms around him, pulling him closer to your flesh. "Isn't this fun?" You could feel the heat radiating off his body as your head rested against his chest. The fast pace of his heart already gave you the impression that your charm had did its work effortlessly.
Randal could you sweet aroma against his nostrils. Hs felt like he was going to explode due to the amounts of emotions he was experiencing—or was it the touch of your flesh against his own? He doesn't know. But that's okay. He has you to play with—to depend on. He knows that no matter how many friends he makes—no matter what. He will always come running back to you.
Running back to your negativity.
Running back to your neglect.
Running back to your praise.
Running back to your abuse.
Running back to you.
But when will you ever run to him?
Never.
