"Coffee?" Satoru asks from inside the kitchen. Suguru smiles and yells a yes before turning on the television in their room. Even though everything was so nice. So peaceful, he still felt uneasy. Like there was something bad going to happen.
He tries drowning in television to distract himself from such thoughts, but it doesn't work. With a low ripple of groan, he turns off the television and rubs his forehead. Satoru soon comes out with coffee and hands one mug to Suguru before sitting beside him on the bed.
"Hey... you okay?" Satoru instantly asks noticing Suguru's troubled expression. Suguru forces a smile and shakes his head in no before grabbing the mug and taking a sip.
"Man... I missed your coffees" Suguru smiles but Satoru narrows his eyes and sighs.
"What is it Suguru?" Suguru sighs out knowing he can no longer fool Satoru. He sets down the mug on the side table and leans back before resting his head on the headboard of the bed.
"I don't know Satoru... I just feel so uneasy..." Suguru mutters rubbing his temple. Satoru smiles and shakes his head before grabbing Suguru's hand and gripping it tight to reassure him he was there with him.
"Everything is gonna be okay Love, we can go out too if you want," Satoru suggests as Suguru instantly shakes his head in no with wide eyes.
"No no! Are you out of your mind?! They will be searching for us!" Suguru exclaims causing Satoru to chuckle.
"Fine then let's stay inside and enjoy our coffee" Satoru suggests with a grin, Suguru bursts into laughter and nods before grabbing his coffee. They watched the TV and drank coffee. They felt at home. They felt so happy and glad.
They were finally together.
They were finally home.
"I love you Suguru..." Satoru whispers as he rests his head on Suguru's shoulder. Suguru smiles and nods.
"I love you m-" A loud crash comes from outside their room. Both Suguru and Satoru sit up straight in alarm. They share glances before their faces turn pale.
They found them.
"Fuck! I showed this house to Nanami!" Satoru exclaims in sudden realization. Suguru's heart nearly jumps out of his throat as he instantly gets off the bed along with Satoru.
"SATORU! I KNOW YOU'RE IN HERE! GET OUT!" Nanami's angry voice rang out from outside the room. Satoru quickly looks around the room and finds the window. He grabs Suguru's hand before crashing the window with his elbow. He jumps out and grabs Suguru's hand helping him jump out too.
"INSIDE! THEY ARE INSIDE!" Satoru and Suguru hear Nanami yell. Panic spread throughout their bodies as they quickly made for a run. As they ran, Suguru turned around to look out the window where he saw Nanami's bloodshot face. Chills ran down his spine as he sped up, running as fast as he could with Satoru.
"QUICK QUICK!" Satoru exclaims as they run along the path. They had no idea where they were going but they ran. They just wanted to be away. Away from all of those people who hated them together.
"Satoru! I- I am ti- tired" Suguru's voice nearly drains out. Satoru pauses on his feet before turning around to look at Suguru who nearly passes out. Cursing out under his breath he ran towards him and grabbed his arm before helping him.
"Suguru, just a bit more" Satoru's desperate voice spoke as Suguru groaned and tried running as fast he could but he was just too out of breath and stamina.
"Satoru..." Suguru breathes out. He was having trouble breathing too. Satoru panics and looks at Suguru whose face is turning pale.
"Suguru! What's going on?!" He exclaims. Why was Suguru so weak all of a sudden?!
"Satoru... I can't... I can't run any...anymore" He breathes out. Satoru shakes his head hysterically and grabs Suguru's face.
"Love look at me. You can do this okay? Please please just a bit more, endure it" He whispers and presses a kiss against his forehead before helping Suguru run forward.
That's when a gunshot rang up in the air.
Everything slowed down.
Satoru's feet halt as he widens his eyes.
His head jerked to his side to look at Suguru who paused.
His head slowly lowers to look at his stomach and there it was.
So much blood.
Satoru's eyes widen as he instantly grabs Suguru who looks at Satoru with slightly wide eyes.
"SUGURU!!!" Satoru's scream echoes as Suguru finally loses his composure and falls down. Satoru instantly grabs him before he hits the ground.
"SUGURU NOO! PLEASE NO FUCK NO!!!" Satoru's screams were so loud but even after that, he couldn't hear his own voice. Everything was so silent around him. His eyes were blurry with tears and he hated how he couldn't see Suguru in front of him properly.
"Satoru!" Nanami calls out and stops when he sees Suguru on the ground as blood flows down his stomach. His eyes grow wide as his head snaps towards the officer whose hand is shaking with fear in his eyes.
"WHAT THE FUCK HAVE YOU DONE?!" Nanami exclaims purely taken aback. He had no idea that this officer would be so dumb to shoot Suguru.
"SUGURU! PLEASE! OPEN YOUR EYES!" Satoru's voice brings Nanami's attention back to the duo. Satoru's face was bloodshot red with tears running down his bright blue eyes. His white hair ruffled as he hysterically shakes Suguru who slowly lost consciousness. His eyes nearly shut but his bloody hand reaches for Satoru's cheek as he smiles out a bloody smile.
"I am... sorry, Satoru..." He coughs out blood before letting out his last words.
"I should've...never loved...you... I caused you... so much pain... didn't I?"
