07: confrontation

"So, how'd you meet Y/n, Gojo-kun? You both seem pretty close." Mei asked.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Ieiri asked.

"Nah." He rubbed the back of his neck and smiled. "How I met Y/n?"

Suguru's eyes flicked towards Satoru as he stood beside him, crossing his arms over his chest as he was ready to snap if Satoru told the group how he met you, how he bought you like you were a piece of meat.

Suguru knew that Satoru knew you would be upset if he told people the true story of how you met.

"Funny story... actually. I bought her."

"Satoru—" Suguru was cut off as the group started asking him questions.

He furrowed his eyebrows together.

"What? What do you mean?"
Utahime asked.

"800,000 yen. I basically own her." He said.

"Satoru, I don't think Y/n would like if you told all these people this." Suguru said, his voice still soft but still holding an authoritative tone.

"She's fine. You don't know her like I do." Satoru said arrogantly as he adjusted his shades.

There were giggles among the crowd, the only people not laughing being Kento and Ieiri.

"I agree with Geto. I doubt that's information she'd want the public to know." Kento said, Ieiri nodding in agreement.

Satoru furrowed his eyebrows together as he said "You all don't know her like I do. She's fine."

"You don't like... abuse her, right?" Utahime asked.

"What? No! Who do you think I am? She's lucky I bought her." Satoru said.

"I think you're a douchebag." Utahime replied as she and Ieiri walked away, whispering to each other.

Suguru stepped in front of Satoru, his eyebrows furrowed together in clear anger.

"Can I talk to you outside?" He asked.

"Whatever it is, you can tell me in front of them." Satoru said with a smirk.

"Alright," Suguru cracked his knuckles as he said "I don't think you should've told them how you met Y/n, and I don't like how you talked about her like she was just some piece of meat you bought. Do you think you look good bragging about buying a human being?"

Satoru shoved Suguru, pushing him over the edge as he said "Shut up, Suguru. You've only known her for what, a week? Guess what? I've known her since she was eight years old."

He laughed in his face and said "Don't act all high and mighty thinkin' you're better than I am."

"Is that so? Let's take this outside, Satoru." Suguru said, a curse beginning to crawl out of a slit leading to the void that Suguru summoned, ready to take on Satoru.

The crowd dissipated, knowing they were both strong students and didn't want to get caught in the crossfire.

"Go by yourself." He chuckled.

Then, Suguru saw Yaga-sensei walking behind Satoru and he quickly composed himself and walked away.

Satoru turned around and waved at his sensei. "Long time no see, sensei."

"How was your mission, Gojo?" Yaga-sensei said.

"Well. Was a piece of cake... at least for me." He chuckled.

Suguru shoved his hands into his pockets as he grumbled in annoyance.

Satoru turned his head and said "You better not be heading to Y/n."

Suguru ignored him and made his way to your dorm since it was your first day leaving the infirmary.

"Glad to hear." He said.

"Hey, sensei, wanna go swimming with Y/n and I? The pool is open!" He said.

"Thank you, but I've got things to do today. How is L/n?" He asked.

"Mmm, pretty good! I think she's out of the infirmary now." He said.

You still had to unpack your thing for your dorm, and since you just got out of the infirmary, you decided now was a good time.

You left the door open and Suguru peaked inside.

"How are you doing?" He asked.

"Ah, you've got a lot to unpack. Need a hand?" He asked.

You sighed and said "Yeah, I would appreciate it."

You smiled as he started unloading a box, asking you where you wanted things.

He pulled out the constellation book Satoru had gifted you a long time ago.

"This is a nice book. You have a lot of stuff relating to stars. Is that something you like, Y/n?" Suguru said as he opened the book.

"Satoru gave that to me when we were kids. He taught me how to read from it." You said.

You walked up to him and took the book out of his hands. "I've always loved stars. Satoru and I used to go stargazing all the time in the summer."

"It also has a section about star signs. What's yours?" You asked as you flipped to the zodiac signs section.

"I never looked into it." He said as he watched your finger move down the list of star signs.

"When's your birthday?" You asked.

"February 3rd." He said.

"Ah! You're an Aquarius." You said.

"Oh really? What's that mean?" He asked.

"Well, Aquarius' are independent, creative and progressive. But they tend to be detached and stubborn." You replied.

"Hmm, sounds about right." He laughed softly.

"What's yours?" He asked.

"I'm a (star sign), and Satoru is a Sagittarius. Sagittarius' are honest, optimistic, adventurous, creative and compassionate. But they can be impulsive and blunt.... Which explains some things about my Satoru." You laughed.

He didn't like the sound of that.

"That's interesting. And I think that explains Satoru pretty well." He said.

You both giggled as Satoru appeared, wearing swim trunks and his shirt unbuttoned to reveal his toned chest.

"Hey, are you ready to swim, Y/n?" Satoru said.

"Oh, I almost forgot we were going to swim!" You said as you ran to your pool bag and pulled your new bikini out.

"Sorry, I would've been ready but I got side tracked." You said.

Suguru and Satoru gave each other dirty looks before you chimed in and said "Suguru! You should come!"

Satoru frowned.

"Oh, and Shoko too!" You said.

"I'll call her and ask if she's doing anything." You said as you pulled out your flip phone and started dialing in Ieiri's number.

Ieiri gladly agreed to come and you squealed in excitement.

Your time at Jujutsu High had so far been the best time of your life, and the first time you've had friends outside of Satoru.

You loved it, but Satoru wasn't too thrilled about sharing you with others.
