Suguru wiped the blood off his face with his sleeve, muttering the word "Weak." to himself before leaving the scattered corpses around in the town central.
Poor girls didn't make it back from their mission alive.
That was just the risk you'd have to take when becoming a sorcerer.
At least, that's what the higher ups would believe.
You avoided Satoru, only interacting with him when you were forced to during class, but outside of class you'd spend your time alone in the dorm room.
It wasn't what Suguru was hoping. He'd hope you'd spend your time with him.
But you were not taking being this upset at Satoru well, nor your separation from him.
And he certainly wasn't either.
Ieiri told Suguru she hoped whatever was going on between the two of you would get better because neither of you were acting right.
One night, Suguru was walking down the hallway before he saw Satoru at your door, banging his forehead on your door as he begged you to let him in.
It was so odd seeing him act so... pathetically. He always held his head high with a confident attitude.
"Y/n... please let me in. I need you." He begged.
He rattled the doorknob, then started knocking on it.
Suguru watched from the corner, waiting to see if you'd allow him in or not.
Then, the door opened.
You stood there in the entrance, looking up at Satoru.
Then, he pulled you in and hugged you tightly. "I'm sorry." He said.
"Just... please stop avoiding me. I can't handle it." He said as he nestled his face into your hair.
It was nice being in his arms again. You couldn't stay this mad at him.
You pulled him into the room, and closed the door.
Suguru walked up to your door softly before pressing his ear against it, his curiosity getting the best of him.
Satoru pulled you close, holding you tight.
"It's... okay." You said softly.
"I forgive you." You said.
He loosened his grip before getting lost in himself.
He was obsessed with you.
Being away from you felt like hell. He knew he couldn't live without you.
You were his weakness.
You pulled him with you on to the bed, resting his head on your chest as you combed through his silky white hair.
"I know..." Satoru mumbled against the softness of your chest.
"I'm an asshole. I don't know what got into me." He sighed.
"Just... don't tell people without asking me. A lot of people are taking it the wrong way." You said softly as Satoru sat up and looked down deeply into your eyes.
You reached up to cup his face as you got lost in those captivating blue eyes. "Did I ever tell you how pretty your eyes are?" You asked, knowing you already have.
Satoru smiled a bit as he said "You tell me all the time."
You giggled. He liked when you laughed. Satoru already felt better.
"I'm sorry... again... I'll make it up to you." He said as he buried his face into your neck.
"I'll take you to the mall this weekend and buy you everything there." He said.
You smiled even more. "You don't need to do that, Satoru."
"You deserve it, though."
Suguru moved from the door after he felt too sick to his stomach to continue listening to your conversation with Satoru.
He questioned if it would be possible to keep you away from him if he didn't manipulate the situation somehow.
Perhaps things would need to get more sinister to gain what Suguru wanted— you.
He shoved his hands into his pocket and made his way to his dorm room, knowing it was going to be another sleepless night.
Satoru fell asleep in your arms that night.
You woke up to the sound of knocking at your door.
Satoru grumbling in annoyance as you tried to pry his half-asleep form off your body.
"Shit, it's probably Shoko." You mumbled, remembering she was going to escort the two of you to class.
You opened the door, wearing your pajamas and rubbing the sleep from your eyes as you opened the door for Ieiri.
"Oh, L/n, I thought you'd be ready by now?" She asked kindly as she tilted her head to the side.
"I'm sorry... I slept in late, I'll get ready." You said as you closed the door to get ready.
Your eyes fell on Satoru's sleeping form as you remembered the events of last night.
How crushed Satoru was that you were avoiding him. You didn't realize how... fragile he was
You stripped your pajamas off to get your uniform on as Satoru began to awake, the sun from your parted curtains shining on him.
His white eyelashes framing his angel eyes fluttered open to see you half-naked, slipping on your thigh-high stockings.
He smirked as he propped himself up, his eyes on you as he said "Well, what a lovely thing to wake up to."
You turned around to face Satoru, blushing softly as you hurriedly put the rest of your uniform on.
"I didn't think you'd wake up." You mumbled, flushing in embarrassment at him seeing you in your undergarments.
Satoru stood up, wearing a pair of sweatpants and a tee shirt, and walked up to you.
He looked down at you with a playful look on his face as he said "You looked good like that."
"Shut up." You grumbled as you slipped on your loafers.
"I have to get to class. You should too. Shoko is here." You said as you opened your door where Ieiri was lighting a cigarette in the hallway.
Her eyes widened a bit as Satoru was seen behind you, looking very informal in his sweats and tee shirt.
"Good morning, Satoru." Ieiri said as she waved at him, but he was too busy looking at your ass to even bother answering her.
Throughout the day, Suguru noticed both you and Satoru were acting normal again, and interacting like usual.
But he hated that he had no idea what might've went down in your bedroom with Satoru.
He knew Satoru wouldn't hesitate making a move on you with how bold he's been acting with his sexual advances.
He wished he could have more control over you. He wished he could have constant supervision over you. He hated how little control he had over everything.
Over Satoru.
And especially over you.
