Winter days are often gloomy.

When Jennie arrived at Lisa's company, the sky had already darkened.

She was going to a concert that night, so she had dressed up a bit. Her big wavy hair cascaded loosely down to her waist, and her already big and bright eyes were adorned with a hint of shimmering eyeshadow, making them sparkle like stars.

Jennie was naturally beautiful, and with a touch of makeup, she became even more stunning.

The receptionist was taken aback by her beauty and paused for a few seconds before respectfully asking, "Hello, may I ask who you are looking for?"

Jennie smiled, revealing a dimple on her cheek, which softened her slightly aggressive beauty.

"I'm here to see your chief, Mr. Manoban."

The receptionist hesitated for a moment, suppressing the gossip burning inside her, and said politely, "Sure, may I ask for your surname? I may need to inform someone."

"My surname's Kim."

There was a small leather sofa next to the reception desk, and the receptionist kindly asked her to sit there and poured her a glass of water.

Before she could take a sip, Lisa hurriedly pushed open the door from the staircase.

The receptionist was almost scared out of her wits.

Why did Mr. Manoban come down in person, and why didn't he take the elevator?

She trembled as she explained, "Mr. Manoban, this lady just said she was looking for you. According to company regulations, I didn't let her go up directly."

Jennie turned her head and smiled at her, "It's okay, it's okay." She looked at Lisa with her bright peach blossom eyes and blinked, "Right, Mr. Manoban?"

In a low voice, Lisa said, "Yes, but in the future, when this young lady comes, let her come straight up."

The front desk watched the two of them being affectionate and nodded repeatedly, "Okay, okay."

Back at her own workstation, she secretly opened her phone. Her trembling fingertips couldn't contain her excitement as she frantically typed on the screen.

"Just now, General Manager Manoban's girlfriend came to see him! I was the one who received her!"

As soon as this message was sent, the group chat exploded.

"What?! Is this for real?"

"General Manager Manoban has a girlfriend?? Won't she freeze to death from his coldness?"

"At least he's a handsome guy, just a bit cold and a workaholic."

"Am I the only one who cares about what his girlfriend looks like?"

The front desk girl replied with a flurry of messages.

"She's so pretty! Her skin is so smooth and her pores are invisible. I think she's even prettier than a celebrity, and she's super gentle too," she posted message after message, feeling quite pleased with herself. She continued, "And Mr. Manoban is incredibly gentle with her. Just now, he even helped her carry her bag. I even heard him ask if she was tired today and if she had slept in the afternoon. Do you think they're living together?!"

The group chat exploded with excitement. "Oh my god, I think I saw it too! Just now, Mr. Manoban and a beautiful woman went into the office, and two minutes later, they packed up and left work!"

"Why are we still working overtime while they're already on a date?!"
