"For the last time Y/N. I am not a lizard."

Neuvillette spoke from his desk still looking small and adorable. The sudden sound of him startled Furina shocked to actually see what he does currently look like.

"I'm sorry I'm just telling Lady Furina everything that happened..." I explained as Furina continued to stare at this new version of the once dignified chief justice turned to a small dragon.

"Neuvillette, where have you been this entire time? I didn't notice you when I entered your office." Furina asked.

"I took a nap below the desk until your conversation have become too noisy to rest peacefully." He replied to Furina's question.

"How long before you turn back to your human form Neuvillette?" Furina continued to question him as this new version of him piqued her curiosity. She never saw him turn into something like this in the past 500 years of knowing each other.

"That I am unsure." Neuvillette answered uncertainly.

"But what do you plan to do while you are still in your dragon form?"

"I will continue my work as usual." He replied in an unemotional tone.

"In that state I'm afraid not!" She loudly proclaimed knowing full well the stubbornness for his duties as Chief Justice and commitment for Fontaine. "While I am no longer in the position to order you as your superior, I must declare that you should take a break and let Y/N handle your job I know she's more capable for the task,"

"Also, Y/N will take care of you in the meantime" She added with a wink.

"Now we have everything sorted out then there's no problem I'll leave the rest to you toode-oo everyone!" Thus, Furina left the scene in a rush to leave these problems to your own hands not bothering to see your pleas for the impending tiredness of your work.

"Wait Furina—" I called out but she was already gone and left the door in a quick fashion.

"She won't come back so we might as well deal this ourselves Y/N." Neuvillette remarked already used to Furina's antics.

"I guess I might as well do as she says." I sighed thinking of what I should do to help Neuvillette for the time being.

"You don't need to listen to her theatrics I can take care of myself." He murmured not wanting to burden yourself because of him.

"She may have performed a wonderful exit but she is worried about you," I said with a hint of concern knowing full well that Neuvillette may need some help even if it is simple or insignificant that he would proclaim himself of no help needed.

"Monsieur Neuvillette, is it alright if I take you home with me?" I asked him kindly reaching my hand to him.

Neuvillette contemplated this considering whether he should accept this proposition. However, he reluctantly agreed so if Y/N can help assist him in this new form.

"If this would help lessen her worries, I have no choice but to accept your invitation." He replied and crawled to your arm so he can perch himself onto your shoulder.

"Thank you Monsieur Neuvillette I will do my best to take care and assist you however I can."

The walk out from the Palais Mermonia was a bit troublesome especially when you have a small dragon on your shoulder as you walked the streets of Fontaine with the people looked at you with skepticism in their eyes wondering what in the world is the creature on my shoulder and thus the first of the many rumors may stir and news press might have took a picture or make some sort of embellished story of it but that was the least of your concern as your main priority was to take Neuvillette to your home to be look over and taken care of.
