After 24 hours, the nurse confirmed that Trent and Ella could finally bring their babies home. Ella was more than joyful having her babies with her at home now. She was still very much in pain but only wanted them and Trent around at the moment, taking in her new little family. Carefully,
Trent picked up the baby carriers and made his way to the car. Ella was behind slowly catching up, not being able to walk the same pace."Are you okay baby?" Trent turned his head to see his love.
"I'm okay. I'm just still in pain, it's okay." Ella was trying to catch up but couldn't. Trent slowed down a bit so he could be next to her.
"I'm so proud of you Ella." Trent spoke reaching the car. The new parents strapped the babies in ready to go. After few seconds later, Trent went to her side of the car and opened the door for her.
"Awww thank youu." She said getting in before he got in and started the engine.
"You're already such a great mother my love." Ella blushed at his comment. She was redder than ever before.
"Trent, I've just had to give birth yesterday and you're giving me butterflies." Ella joked, looking away from her boyfriend.
"We'll we only have to wait six weeks." He shot back flirting with her.
"Wow, Trent you right dirty dog." She rolled her eyes.
"What?" He smiled.
"Just shush you plum." She looked back at him. "You're a great father baby." She spoke back, causing Trent to chuckle a little. "The nursery is 100% set up?"
"Yeah. Me and Jaida finished a couple hours ago. It's all ready." Trent confirmed.
"And what about-" Ella was cut off.
"Everything's sorted baby. Diapers, pacifier, bottles, the milk things, clothes, everything. I don't want you to start stressing."
"Alright, and by the way, I brought most of the clothes." Ella replied.
"Yeahh. Tay's gonna grow up being a diva like her mum. Always using daddy's money for clothes and new shoes." Trent giggled.
"Like mother like daughter." Ella continued. "And T's gonna grow up being a sore loser like his dad."
"It means he'll be competitive. He's gonna need that in life." Ella rolled her eyes again jokingly at Trent.
Finally, the four had reached home after what seemed like forever. Trent brought the babies inside the house while Ella called Jaida to tell her to come over.
"Jaida's coming over in a bit." She picked up Tahj as he cried. "Hello mama's boy, are you hungry?" She said in a baby voice.
"Baby, I was kind of hoping it could just be us today. Our first day all together as a family. The four of us." Trent picked up Tayah before giving her little kisses on her forehead.
"You can invite Jude if you want."
"Alright, gorgeous."
"Then when they leave we can spend all time together we want. Plus we have tomorrow."
"So why not invite them tomorrow?" Trent asked looking over at her while bouncing his daughter.
"Babe, it's Jude and Jaida."
"Yeah and I love them but I want my family to myself for a day please." Trent replied.
"Fine, I'll tell Jaida to come by tomorrow." Ella spoke before reaching over to grab her phone again. Jaida understood straight away, not taking offence to it at all. It was a big moment for them both and she was more than grateful for her new niece and nephew.
