(I will edit this later maybe)You gaped at the vending machine.
You'd just practically put your life savings in there, and then your drink decided to get stuck and not fall out like it was supposed to. What use was knowing jujutsu if everyday problems like this were going to take you out?
You tried punching at the vending machine to make the drink fall out.
No use.
You sighed loudly, as you reached into your pockets to search for some more loose change which the vending machine might just steal from you anyways.
Barely finding enough, you put it in the vending machine, and pressed in the drink you'd gotten before. You watched with hopeful eyes as it moved.
But then the first one got stuck on the side.
And now you'd spent money for two drinks but had gotten zero.
At this rate you were going to head back home to the Zenins.
"All I want is a drink," you grumbled through grit teeth as you punched the vending machine again.
"Woah, woah!"
Your head whipped around at the sound of that voice.
Gojo Satoru. Your senpai.
Quickly you straightened up, patting your uniform down. Satoru had seen you get all mad and abuse the vending machine, so your quick change into the Zenin's well mannered daughter was quite funny to watch.
"What happened? Your drink get stuck?"
You sighed, gesturing to the large machine. "Two drinks got stuck."
"No way," Satoru grinned. "How are you that unlucky?"
"I'm a Zenin," you muttered. "How much more unlucky can I get?"
Satoru snorted, covering his mouth. After he breathed in quickly, composing himself, he grinned at you. "Didn't expect that from you, damn."
You shrugged, looking away from him, not giving him a further comment.
Satoru thought he'd be able to connect with you well, as a fellow member of a huge clan, but you had been pretty closed off around him for some reason. It was hard to be a super awesome and cool senpai when you were so unreceptive to his charm.
"Look," Satoru grinned. "Let me show you something."
He felt out the side of the vending machine, focusing as he eyed your stuck drinks. You watched him curiously, anticipating his next move.
He suddenly slammed the side of the machine, and the two drinks fell out with a loud thump. You gasped and quickly reached down to get out what you had paid for.
"Thank you," you sighed in relief, glad that your money hadn't gone to waste. Looking down at both of the drinks in your hand, and then up at Satoru, you decided to do something you never thought you'd do if you had the freedom to do whatever you wanted.
Be nice to Gojo Satoru.
Naoharu would hate you right now.
You held out a drink, and looked up at Satoru with a little grin, which was the most he'd seen you smile around him since you'd gotten here. "Here. My treat."
Before Satoru could let out a quick thank you, Suguru had shown up and called out his name. Satoru stuck with a quick nod to you, before running over to Suguru, who called out a greeting to you, before informing Satoru about some assignment they had.
