Naoya smirked at the view of your living room turned wedding venue. "Now look what we have here."
You stuttered in disbelief. How had he shown up here?
Naoya's eyes scanned around the place until they stopped at you. Somehow, his cocky grin grew wider, and he chuckled. Before he could say anything snarky, Satoru stepped in front of you. "What're you doing here, Zenin?"
Naoya scoffed. "Isn't it obvious? I'm here to congratulate my dear old big sister." Naoya tilted his head to try and look past Satoru. "Our useless brothers apologize for not being able to attend. They were too fearful - I can't understand why... if you were able to seduce him, he must not be very smart."
"Naoya," you huffed through gritted teeth, stepping up next to Satoru, who's eyes darted between you and Naoya cautiously. "Leave. You weren't invited here."
Naoya's face morphed into an exaggerated pout. "What a pity! I thought as your dear brother, I would be shown some respect and love, but I see, as every woman does, you forget about the family that raised you when you find a man."
"I excluded you with reason," you said, crossing your arms. "And I'd rather not have a back and forth with you about your idiotic beliefs, so, leave Naoya."
Naoya's eyes narrowed on you as he tilted his head. "You dare speak to me that way?"
You tensed but kept your stand and your stare as firm as you could. "Yes. Leave, Naoya, you're not welcome here. Don't make me repeat myself again."
The room felt like it was freezing under the painful silence and tension.
Naoya didn't move a step. Satoru finally decided that he couldn't take it anymore and he opened his mouth to yell at Naoya, but the Zenin raised his hand and frowned. "I'm here for the twins."
Satoru shut his mouth. The two of you shared a wary glance, before you looked back to Naoya. "I sent them back already."
"No," Naoya scowled. "I can sense that weak sense of cursed energy, even better when I'm in a room filled with average amounts. If I checked your room, the girls would be in there, right?"
"No," you said firmly, taking steps forward and walking up to Naoya. Satoru had instinctively flinched, reaching out for your head, but he retreated, deciding that it would undermine you. Naoya took steps back as you walked into his personal space. "And if they were, you would absolutely never be allowed to take a step foot near them while I'm here. So turn away, go home, and continue on as the piece of shit dirtbag you've always been - just stay away from me."
Once Naoya was pushed against the door, you decided you were done for the day. You'd already went far beyond your limits of pissing him off already, and you decided to quit pushing it. You let out a deep breath, taking a step back. "Leave, please."
You made the move to turn away, to turn your back to him, and in hindsight you should've known better. It was a good thing you were around the people you were with though, because only Satoru could've been fast enough to grab Naoya's hand midswing.
You turned around in shock. Satoru had Naoya held by the collar, pushed against the door. The wrist he'd gripped onto was being squeezed to the point of it looking like it was about to break. Naoya shook aggressively, the fear taking over his body as the six eyes glared at him like he was the next target... which, in fairness, he was.
"You know better than to lay a hand on her," Nanami's voice came out, booming through the room. "Or you should, but I guess you're not very bright."
Naoya grit his teeth at Nanami's words, but he couldn't move under Satoru's grip - he couldn't even run that stupid mouth of his without his voice shaking in fear, so he didn't open it.
